Why Aries Struggle with Instant Gratification

Aries individuals often seek immediate results due to their impulsive and energetic nature. This can lead to rushing decisions and difficulty with patience, especially in relationships. Understanding this trait helps Aries manage their impulses and foster more fulfilling connections over time.

Aries people, why do we struggle with instant gratification so much? Don't tell me that you don't, it's our fundamental Achilies' heel, especially in relationships with other humans.

We trample any chances at something good ourselves, move on, and then cry about it on the inside.

For both of us being born on Pisces cusp, I find you to be extremely different in all postings.

I'm sure it has something to do with our Moon signs. I find a lot of Gemini women are like what you described. They move quickly into relationships and think highly of the situation without looking at the big picture. They get caught up in the satisfaction it brings them at the moment and fail to realize if it's a good fit for them.

Gemini is my 4th ranked sign actually.

I'm not like this but I was somewhat when I was younger. I've learned through life experiences that instant gratification doesn't work with anything especially when you want something to last. This goes for everything not just relationships. I like to get to know the person when it comes to any type of relationship. You never know when someone can be a mirage lol

Aries are impatient, open and honest, and like challenge. They want to know someone quick and have no problem jumping into a relationship first. They may find if the other person doesn't do this too, then this can seem strange/annoying to them. Like how can one person invest so quickly and have feelings but not the other.

If you say you give up quickly and you don't like to fight it out and have the challenge, then this is not what Aries do usually. If a person give themselves to Aries too quickly then they get bored, they need that challenge.

For me, I think it could be some other reason why you do this, not to do with starsigns. And I think because maybe you are impatient in finding out whether the relationship will work, you look for a quick answer. I've seen many women do this around my age (35), they are so desperate to know if the guy they've just met is the right one or not, that any answer just settles their mind, even if it's a breakup, and they maybe quick to push for an answer or too much too soon just to find out the answer.

I'm lazy in the courtship and honeymoon phase of relationships. I don't initiate, chase, etc. It's like whatev and I'm very lucky in love. I have two grand air trines involving my Venus

Grand Trine with Ven: 21Aqu58'53" and Mar: 17Gem01'31" and Ura: 26Lib29'52"

Grand Trine with Ven: 21Aqu58'53" and Sat: 28Gem34'54" and Ura: 26Lib29'52"

Grand Trine with Jup: 4Pis45'19" and Sat: 28Gem34'54" and Ura: 26Lib29'52"

Venus is #1 dominant planet and 7th house is empty.

Hell girl, I'm like you in that sense. I'm Taurus dominant, but if I get excited about someone and like them, whether it'd be a friendship or romantic relationship, I want to go after it. Of course, as a Venus in Taurus I do so subtly. I get their attention, but not as blatantly as a fire Venus would.

But I certainly understand your moments of zeal in circumstances like this. A lot of Aries can easily become enlivened by a new and fun opportunity -- not speaking for all, just a fair amount that I know and myself.

The only point I don't agree with is the 'moving on' part. I never forget anyone, but that's most likely due to my Taurus placements. The crying about it on the inside? Oh yes! lol

Well, since my own Venus in Taurus is my prominent planet on the vertex of my T-square which is also on my MC/IC axis, I understand you.
