Before we went out, he would talk to me about other girls he was dating. I couldn't really get upset cause he's single. He would talk about my friend to me and i found it odd but didnt i couldnt really ask him to stop cause hea single. Like he would bring her up when she had nothing to do with the convo.
Then he asked me out so i thought it was just him feeling me out, looking for consistency. We went out and i was super pumped. The second i sat down his first words was that he had a date the next day. Took the wind right out of my sail. But again hes single and i was already out with him and didnt want to make things awkward. Then i complimented him on his tan and he starts talking about my friend and how my friend teases him about his tan. By now hes mentioned her 8 times. I should have asked him then what the deal was but i wasnt ready for the answer. Hes now asked me on 2 other dates.
A few days ago i got some chocolate as a gift and quickly went to offer him one. I was really excited cause they were homemade. He took it and said that he wanted to give it to my friend. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. He ate it but i was sick to my stomach. He would actually give something away that 1. I gave to him 2. To my friend. Ouch.
The next day i finally just asked him if he had a thing for my friend because he brings her up alot. He laughed and said that yes he did have a thing for her. Ouch again.
I havent talked to him since.
I wasnt looking for a relationship but some respect would be nice.
Hes single so he can do what he wants.
I had to say something because i found myself growing more and more insecure. And i was getting jealous of my friend and i like her.
Just alot of unnecessary drama.
It may also be the age factor. He super casual with his dating habits. Him talking to me about his dates made me feel friendzoned and a bit less than.
However his generation is very open and honest.
Im still going to Chicago cause eveything is paid for but it will be a solo trip.
I cant take anymore convos about her or the other girls hes seeing.
Its a turnoff and leaves me drier than the sahara.
