Are you a man? Everything I read and hear about men is that if they like someone. Especially someone they think is wonderful and they love spending time with, then they will do anything and everything to keep her. They wouldn't risk losing her. But you're saying no. So please could you explain? I'm driving myself crazy thinking about all the nice considerate things he did and said.
He basically was going to use you to hit it and quit it, and once he realized that you really liked him, he felt bad because his asshole side was going to take advantage of someone who truly had feelings.
