hello fellow aries. how long?

not exactly new to dxp but never posted on the aries board before so hello all!.. i was curious about other rams...how long do you guys stay at jobs? i have a running history of staying at a job for 2-3 yrs and then moving on. i have also tried different careers. i have been a nurse since for 20 yrs but over the years have opened a business, became a massage therapist, furthered my degree in nursing, and now i'm thinking of dog grooming school. do you constantly wonder what you are supposed to be doing with your life or are you pretty settled?

I will be 25 on the 18th the longest I have ever stayed at my job was 9 months and only for the reason that the store closed down. Other jobs typically had the length of 2 to 5 months because I was uninterested and the environment was not suitable to my taste. I always thought I had a problem, but for our sign the ram we prefer to be our own boss and lead projects. I prefer isolation but I can work well with others. Compared to co-workers I was outstanding, but i feel the need to be in control some of time. Im in school now, and constantly worry that I may be in the wrong field. However, I am highly interested in this major and it challenges me through all aspects. In my case I am no where near settled, because graduating is only the beginning.

Anywhere between 1-5 years. Was at one place for a year, left for a job in a different state and stayed 5 years, left state again and currently been a year at the new place.

First job was seasonal. Second job was 5.5. Current is coming up 8 years. ...I wanted to leave current ages ago, but shit happens. Been currently job hunting... the last year and a half :/

The job I'm at has been the longest. I've been here since 2009...yikes. I'll be here Until I get my career situated. But mainly one year till I start itching to make more money.

I'm 29, and the longest I've been at a job is 3 years. I move up the ladder quite a bit so I don't stay in one place too long. I have no idea what I want to do with my life, but for now I feel good and like what I'm doing.

Been in the oil and gas heavy industrial since 2008 did security for 2 month worked as a mobile home detailer for 2 months my uncles company .in my teens worked as a cashier fo yr amusement parks etc..get bored easily...now currently I start this distributio distribution job next week see how it goes..lol

This makes me wonder if any of us rams are ever gonna have a decent 401k!!! 🙂
