From what I've read Aries tend to move fast (in relationships/sex/etc)... or is that a bunch of BS?

My BFF met an Aries guy in November. In January he was talking about getting married. The got engaged in February and have a wedding date set in May. Whew!!!! Way too fast for this cappy! (She's a Cancer)

Hmmm... this Aries has seemed a little slow on the uptake to me. I chalked it up to his Taurus Mars, but you say you move fairly fast. Although, from what I've read, Mars in Taurus is supposed to be "slow and steady wins the race" - may be fitting for him. I'm not complaining about the pace, just seems dif; I'm more used to shutting men down. He certainly does not strike me as though he just wants to bed me. We've been out a couple times for drinks after work (after a fricken month of visiting me in my office daily - I was confused as to why he was chatting me up, I had to kick him out a few times too)... he does seem to be moving a little faster now. Maybe he was just feeling me out. (He's all Aries in personal placements lest a Sag Moon and his Mars).

Aries, Cancer Rising, Cap Moon, Venus in Pisces. Aries can move fast...but Aqua folks move the quickest in my experience. Aries moves fast and then we move on even faster. You have to keep our interest or be beneficial to us in some way...i.e. give us space, not be too needy, etc.

Oh, yes, slow and steady wins the race... OMG 3rd outing, he invites me into his place, yeah kissing and whatnot AFTER we talked for some time then sends me home. He was clearly not wanting to but WTF?

My Aries certainly doesn't move fast. We have been talking since January and we are still not in a committed relationship though she loves me. Neither of us are seeing anyone else but she "isn't ready for a relationship" yet. I don't understand her.

After about 4 months and still "isn't ready for a relationship" - sorry hon, she's waiting for something better to come along. Aries or not, makes no dif at this point. Shed a tear, suck it up and move on (don't take offense, I'm a Cap - then again, you are a Sag, you can roll).

Ah yeah. I guess, that's Aries right there. I myself wants things fast. Whether it's talking, or doing a project or being in a relationship. I cannot stand doing things really slow (unless it a real lazy day for me). But when I work, like run errands, my itenirary is planned in my head so I'd know where to go first second and BAM! Work's done whilst some people are still starting. I hate waiting. Also, I can work/move all by myself. Most of the time, I don't like company or a partner in a job assigned to me as it slows me down.
My relationships are fast as well. Like I and my ex became bf/gf after a month of talking. And my now boyfriend also about that same span of time. I think, my boyfriend can't keep up as he is a Virgo, which is an Earth sign. And that's where the push/pull happens.

My last post came out all wrong 😛

The man does not seem like he wants to be too forward, yet knows I like him. Not getting it. It's as if when he comes to see me (which is twice per day) he is almost dangling himself in front of me...

Stupid Aries folk, they're supposed to like the chase :/

Dang, another one of my dreams completely dashed!!!!

Through a combination of experience and natural inclination, I tend to move very carefully in regard to relationships. Indeed, my last attempt at a "Personal" life took over a year for me to accept that it was a possibility. But, even after all that caution, it ended very badly for me. Basically, the person I was so taken by was simply jerking my chain and finding some sort of amusement in doing so.

I am Aries sun, Virgo moon, and Taurus mars. I would opine that this explains to some degree my cautious approach to romance. On the other hand, once I am in, I am all in, and that is all there is to that.

And to finish, this "all in" has also been the source of a great deal of pain in my life. I keep trying to "make it work" when I should have cut my losses and run long ago....

Thanks dofacc! I'm a Cap, I can move slow (although my Gem Moon/Sag Venus/Scorp Mars do offset that a bit 😛). But, when someone is moving slower than me sheesh (I'm not used to that for certain)... I can understand if he has reservations and does not want to jump into anything. He told me last night that coming here (he's a visiting professor) he did not intend on meeting anyone - then suddenly I'm in the picture. Although, he did put me there by visiting my office almost daily for over a month before I broached the subject of getting a drink. Five dates in (and visiting me in my office multiple times per day) and he still seems hesitant. He's ALL Aries to boot with the exception of his Mars (Sun/Mon/Asc/Merc/Venus, Mars Taur). I'm guessing he's still trying to figure out how I fit/or will fit in...

I have to admit that I spend a lot of time wondering "how is this all going to work" when it comes to lots of things. I put it up to my Virgo moon. Hey, why not a Taurus mars besides.

I am also guessing that as he is so Aries, being honest is a big deal. I am supposing he doesn't want to lead you on, just to dump you at a moments notice. For a bunch who "don't care about other people," some of us Aries can be surprisingly delicate when it comes to certain other folk.

Huh, imagine that. I do have to say that once I have sit a goal, I am quite determined, if not single minded, in achieving that goal. Sort of makes lots of other people really annoyed with me at times.

Sorry, I misspoke, I was busy at work... his moon is in Sag - still all fire, except his Mars, nonetheless.

He's very open I think, he def does not hold back! Quite the force to be honest, takes control of a room when he walks in (then again, maybe that's just my office LOL)... he said I could ask him anything and he would give me an honest answer. I wasn't about to go there. I told him that I didn't want to ask any questions which I wouldn't want to know the answer. Hey, sometimes, being in the dark is "safe" *shrugs*. In any case, he responded by telling me that there were questions he just didn't know the answers to. In essence answering my question without me even asking...

He's out of town for the weekend, texted me when he got to his destination. I take that as a good sign 🙂

Caps are very much like that! Yet we keep going once achieving our goal!

When you, as an Aries, reach that goal do you simply drop everything at that point?

My "goals" tend to be very practical in nature. I am going to study to become a XXXX. So, I become a XXXX and do that. I set goals that I feel will benefit me some way. I WILL>/u> go to the gym XXXX number of times a week is the idea. I do you set a goal like "I will hope down a hall XXXX number of times this week to set a office record!" you see.

So, no, I do not just drop them once they have been met. I put my new skills/knowledge/whatever to work as much as possible.

Ahh, geez, that is sort of a tough one for me. I don't suppose I actually have a real type. On the other hand, if you are mean and hateful to others, it ain't gonna' happen. I find that being a "nice" person is quite attractive. Sure, fine, I wouldn't turn my nose up at a fine pair of everything, but if you are an awful person, I don't want anything to do with you at all.

I just don't find hate and mean attractive at all.

When an Aries is making reference to 30 years in the future, how far in the future is he planning?

E.g., "I don't know what will happen btwn us, but 30 years from now I hope you only remember good things..."

GAWD, I know men who don't want to commit refer to such in a multitude of ways, but he's giving me like decades out.

Maybe this should be a general man Q, not necessarily aimed toward Aries IDK.

Maybe I should ask the general Q, "what is long term in a man's mind?"

I just think too much about things is what it is - it's constant it seems! (damn Gem moon)

So, my question probably has more to do with my insecurities.

As it stands, the man comes to my office multiple times per day (he was visiting me daily for at least a month before we ever went out); we're seeing each other at least 3x per week now; he has no issue out with me in highly public places where people we know will easily see us (it's a small college town); he didn't want to just run me into bed; he's made me dinner a couple of times now (I think that's sweet); me joking with him about being hit on when he went out the other night, he said he was saving himself for me; we have future plans in the weeks to come; he makes an effort to contact me when he's out of town; he's told me he doesn't want me seeing another man; and, knowing some of my past, he tells me that I deserve to be treated well which is what he is trying to do.

Yeah, maybe he's just not that into me and just a player 😉
(if he is, he's pretty damn good at it)

In the end, I need to stop questioning intent and just have fun with it.

I'm so bad, I question why he gently strokes my cheek on parting if we're at work. I question E V E R Y T H I N G and wonder what the meaning is behind it. I was leaving his place yesterday, gave him a kiss and went to head out the door - I didn't expect him to see me to the door, but he got up, came up behind me kissed my neck while I was putting on my jacket, turned me around kissed me and on my way I went. He's sweet like that... yet, I'm still am stuck on whether he likes me or not...

Transits must be bad at the moment for me...but, nothing bad about the Aries, he's my fantasy man (GAWD, I actually said it - really, he is on so many levels it's sick).
