Mars in Cancer

I guess I pick up some family-oriented, love of the voluptuous side of life, and definitely get some passive-aggressive traits here and there (not too many) but still I see it now and again when I am in certain situations. I guess it guides me in that I circle back to certain home/family/familiar/nurturing ways when things are getting stressful.

My Mars in Gemini makes me a bit scatterbrained and I can adapt to change quite well. lol

I'm also strangely fond of sending and receiving hand-written letters. You know in this day and age, nobody writes letters anymore lol But I rarely use email and I read somewhere that Mars in Gemini likes to write letters to people lol

Mars in Sag

Love to travel, explore, can't sit still for too long. When I get mad......oh boy! Will fight for what I believe in and will fight for others too. Always open to new things and willing to try anything at least once. Life is an adventure for me!

My mars is in pisces... i'm a walking contradiction with my aries sun. I have strong opinions but if i'm not comfortable with my surroundings or people completely i avoid confrontation. I pick up very well on the emotional vibe of an environment and some situations quite literally drain the life force out of me, I need to be sure to take out to me alone.

Mars in Capricorn: Focused, subdued, aggressive, controlled.

And for you, Ariess, from cafeastrology 🙂:

Mars in Capricorn
With fiery Mars in the more orderly sign of Capricorn, natives with this position have a subdued and controlled style of approaching life. Most don't come across as particularly enthusiastic; rather, theirs is a low-key but determined energy.

Mars in Capricorn natives like to be on top of things. They are generally goal-oriented and focused people who are not afraid of hard work. Most are achievers by nature, and many possess well-defined ambitions—well-defined to themselves more than anything. They're not particularly flashy people, but their drive to succeed and to make their lives secure is strong, even if it's not right out there for the world to see.

*Anger is expressed in a rather cool, level-headed way with this position of Mars* **(Especially true for me as I have gotten older. When I was younger, I was more "Aries" with anger. Now that I'm older, I'm more "Capricorn")**. Self-control is strong when it comes to expressing anger, drive, energy, and sexuality. Capricorn is a sign that detests waste of any kind. It also fears disorderliness and "letting go". With Mars in Capricorn, there is generally a powerful need to stay in control.

Mars in Gemini, but stuck in the murky depths of the 12th house.

Nobody has ever seen me truly, madly angry except my mother. They've seen my Aries aggressiveness, and since my Mars is conjunct my Gem ASC I think I'm better at making people feel thissmall than I realize but even then it's just me being annoyed - not angry. When I am angry? God help you.

My mars is sitting on the cusp line of Pisces and Aries. Cafe astrology said my mars is more in piscies. I'm not happy about the verdict tho. Like I don't have enough Pisces everywhere else in my chart!
Not sure how it affects me...

I think mars in cap makes it possible for me to abstain fr sex for long periods of time. Also I come off as a cap at times no one ever guesses I am am Aries. I can be stoic, reserved and very serious. To me not very Aries like.

Mars in taurs its afflicted though mars square saturn, things are shutting down and growing old around me, things are slow, things grind to a halt, its pretty dense, on the plus side the energy is rather erotically oriented and sensual.

K, I finally googled mars in Pisces:

—The Love Addict??

For the Mars in Pisces Lover, to love and be loved is a compulsion; an all-consuming drive that affects every part of their lives. It is their demon, their madness and the monkey that won't ever leave their backs even when they are old and gray. Obviously this compulsion to love makes these people very vulnerable. But their vulnerability—this acute sensitivity to feelings and emotional situations—just becomes one more aspect of their sexual attractiveness. With Mars in Pisces we confront the essence of sex appeal, an endlessly open heart-of-hearts that no amount of desire can completely fill.

If you think this passive approach to sex puts these Lovers at a disadvantage, think again. Even though sometimes they appear to be helpless victims of love, Mars in Pisces Lovers typically dominate relationships simply because of the power of the emotions they bring to them. A relationship with a Mars in Pisces Lover can seem like a headlong plunge into an emotional and sexual abyss. No end in sight, but who cares— They demand a lot from the people who love them and, guided by an almost mystical sensitivity to the feelings of other people, they have little trouble finding partners who are up to the challenge.

The real strength of this type, however, is not in their ability to lure the rest of us into mad affairs. It is in their ability to survive them. Their emotional flexibility and their pliant, ever optimistic approach to sex allow Mars in Pisces Lovers to walk away from emotional crack-ups that would leave more sturdy souls in a straight jacket. In fact, these Lovers often thrive in circumstances of emotional upheaval and they typically do all they can to keep their romantic situations fluid and unfixed.

Deception and subterfuge often play large roles in the love lives of Mars in Pisces Lovers. Their needs and desires are so diffuse and so prone to change with circumstance that even they are often surprised at the directions they take. Emotional security means a great deal to them but they also thrive in a state of emotional flux. They sometimes appear weak and vulnerable and yet they are capable of the most amazing acts of emotional will. They can be very loyal but they can also be infuriatingly susceptible to romantic diversions. No wonder it's so hard to get a straight story from these sexy and slightly delirious Lovers. They rarely have a clear idea of what it is they want.

The sexual response of Mars in Pisces Lovers is always keyed to their emotional state. In some instances physical sex can mean very little to them despite their essentially sensuous natures. At other times it can mean everything. Promiscuity is not always a problem here but there is probably no other Mars type that is so prone to use sex as an emotional crutch. Their capacity for finding a replacement for emotional security in the momentary comfort and release of meaningless sex is probably the most dangerous and certainly the most heartbreaking quality of this type. It not only disrupts their lives but also the lives of the people who love them. Yet they are so lovable, so desirable and romantic that it's always easy to forgive even the most misguided of Mars in Pisces Lovers. And perhaps that is the most problematic quality of this type — no matter how badly they behave, it's just too damn easy to fall in love with them all over again.

CELEBRITY EXAMPLES OF MARS IN PISCES

We only have to take a look at a few of our female examples of this type to understand the seductive power of the Mars placement. Here we have Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Ava Gardner, Bo Derek and Tina Turner; women whose sex appeal has become legendary. We also have some examples of women who made a good living selling their sex appeal at a more retail level such as the Restoration period courtesan Nell Gwyn and internet porn princess Danni Ashe.
Among the men we often see an abject surrender to the allure of sex and a need to experience it is all forms and situations. Thus we have Love Addicts like Casanova, Sir Richard Burton and Errol Flynn.

More pervasive, however, are the examples of this type who, for one reason or another assume the passive role in their relationships. Bo Derek allowed hers husband, John Derek to remake her in the image of a sex symbol. Tina Turner and Billie Holiday both suffered at the hands of abusive husbands. Spencer Tracy began his relationship with Katherine Hepburn as the dominant partner but his alcoholism frequently made him childish and dependent. African-American writer James Baldwin was an aggressive fighter for equal rights but, in his sexual relationships, he took a passive role. Even the noted feminist writer Simone de Beauvior was for many years overwhelmed and held in check by the power of her sexual connection to Mars in Scorpio Lover Jean Paul Sartre.

Of course, being the passive partner in a relationship does not necessarily make you powerless. Ivana Trump and actress Linda Hamilton both left their marriages to powerful men (Donald Trump and James Cameron) with a sizable pile of cash while Debbie Boone surrendered her singing career for the joys of family life.

I agree with the keeping fluid flexibility and unfixed relationship situations.
I also feel
Rather skittish... Reminding me of a fish darting off when startled into isolation or it's own space. I isolate myself after a hard day or if there are bad vibes.
I also pick up on other peoples emotions and often confuse them as my own.
I love being in or around water. I think water heals and washes the spirit. Being in water always makes my soul feel fresher.
I agree with the romantic diversions... Lol... Guilty as charged!
Meaningless sex: guilty!

Mars in Taurus. Might explain why I have such an "appreciation" for the Virgo and Taurus fems....

Also got Moon Virgo (15.21) Mercury Pisces (26.45) Venus Pisces (6.18). You suppose these are "unlucky" placements for love. Seem to be from my perspective.

Mars in Pisces... hmm lets see.. very sexual, but I cannot be unless if I am in a really deep and committed relationship with the guy. I get along best with men's mars in Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, or Capricorn. I think the stereotype of people with Mars in Pisces is completely wrong haha.

Mars in Sag: All that's been mentioned with that placement.

I don't really get the argumentative vibe from ya.

I never got that?

Because i have Gem mars and i sometimes feel like i'm very argumentative. But then again i don't actually argue, as such, more like oppose the opposite point of view all the time, play devils advocate. Which is a form of argumentation i guess?

I should also point out that my brother, (also an aries with moon in virgo) has mars in gem as well. And arguments, whilst frustrating at times, can be fun. Because it is a battle of words and wit. Funnily enough tho, it's the silent treatment that works best.
