How to Support Someone Quitting Alcohol

Supporting someone reducing alcohol intake involves encouragement and understanding. Offer motivation, listen without judgment, and help them stay committed to their challenge. Participating in their journey can also boost their success and foster a stronger connection.

I'm not an Aries or alcoholic expert, but let me explain something to you young children under 35 here.

The more you eat and drink clean and healthy every day and the more you exercise regularly, the less your body can handle alcohol consumption in the long run. When you start drinking again, your headache is worse, you vomit faster than ever and you feel crappy because your system is not used to it. I think that's how nature tells you to make a choice. I haven't had any alcohol since New Year. I'm not proud of it but I sacrifice myself so that you people can learn from me.

I haven't drank any alcohol during the week in 20 years.

I only drink Saturday night, sometimes Friday as well, sometimes a bit of vino on Sunday.

Goddamn looking back on my younger years I couldn't go a day without drinking. I knew I had a problem but didn't seem to care. Thank God I don't drink heavily no more like I used to. I would of been looking like a old wrinkly man and in the hospital by now.
