Why would an aries man likes you but rejects you?

So .. my very best friend is an aries ... and we’ve been growing closer with time specially in the past 2 years.. but he sometimes turn flirty ... or say stuff like .. u r everything the heart desires ... or i really love you ... bla bla ... recently “ as i mentioned in the last post” he confessed liking me more than a friend .. zbut never did anything about it ... but honestly i developed so much feelings for him .. and lately he is all over my mind ... so i decided to confess it to him ... but it obviously wasnt mutual ... and at the end he said am sorry to disappoint you.. and that was it !.

I do understand his situation.. and i do accept it .. and I cant force anything..

But i just dont understand why would he gives obvious signs especially when i tell him about a guy i like .. he always mention himself like joke about why would i look for someone else while i have him ... or stuff like i wouldnt find anyone better than him .. or why would he tell me he likes me a little more than i think ..

while he doesnt see me more than a friend ?!.

Because Cardinals hate clingy people.

We hate when we ourselves act clingy.

Aries can like you, even love you, and want nothing to do with you in their life. It’s possible.
