Ascendant Signs: Interesting

Ascendant fire signs:
The fire signs of Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are noted for their energy, enthusiasm and optimism. When a fire sign is on the ascendant the outer manner is friendly, uncritical and non-hostile, which makes such people good mixers and public relations executives. They typically send out friendly, but professionally competent signals which draw out a friendly and rather respectful response from others. Aries rising gives out a well-organized, slightly military bearing which makes them fit for any kind of military or civil service organization. Leo rising subjects have a dignified and rather formal manner which inspires confidence; while Sagittarius risers have a cheerful, pleasant and rather witty outer manner which suits all kinds of teaching, training and public speaking situations.

The earth signs of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are noted for their practicality and security. When an earth sign is on the ascendant the outer manner is shy, serious and cautious. Taurus risers are the most sociable of the three and are often musical or artistic. Virgo risers look for mental stimulation in others, while Capricorn risers enjoy both work and social pursuits. People with these ascendants send out signals which are pleasant and tactful suggesting that they prefer to form part of a team - at least to begin with - than to push themselves immediately to the front.

The air signs of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are noted for their communication skills. haha i got Leo Rising. It's a great balance with all my water in my chart. I think it's best to appreciate & learn your rising sign. You'd be surprised what it can add to your life

Pisces rising can make you blend in. Sort of... "Hey, I know you from somewhere, don't I?" "Um no, I'm from out of town." You're automatically a part of any place you enter. Until you say something, anything, and then you're not quite what they thought you were. This might bother your Scorp moon, because people approach you out of the blue, but wouldn't Leo sun enjoy the comraderie? 🙂

Water sign rising is on point for me...having the Libra sun and Scorpio rising is a double edge sword. I'm just a non emotional, aloof appearing, nonchalant mess when it comes to emotions, and having a Virgo moon doesn't help. However, when I do love, I love hard and have no problem showing my true emotions when it's with the right person. The intuitive thing is also on point. I am usually the easiest person in the world to get along with, so when I meet someone and my spirit doesn't jive with them, I can automatically feel the negativeness. I can't put my finger on it, but I just feel it, and from that point on I keep a safe distance from that individual. I'm still nice and cordial though, but more than likely, they'll never make it into my circle.

I'm totally happy with my Fire Rising.

I think my Ascendant takes over the older I get. Caps are known to get younger as they age. I used to never smile and be very serious for my age. Around my friends I would be more Sagitarius though.

Sagittarius Rising- I have a love/hate relationship with the strong fire in my chart as a Virgo. But I think it gives me a duality that another potential chart would lack. I love the inquisitiveness of having the Virgo/Sag combo. It makes me the inscrutable truth-seeker.

I also notice that I have many more fire signs (particularly Leo's) as "fun" friends but my Caps and Taureans "get" me more.

I barely feel my aries rising at all, I have a water sun, moon, mercury and venus. I only feel my aries rising around certain social groups or more relaxed settings, is this abnormal?

No... Ascendants influence the way you feel with others and with you that side might be more dominant

thanks, yes and I have a libra mars too and I don't think I have properly expressed anger since my early adolecents hahah

Virgo rising here and I don't like it at all. I feel like I have this need to be nice at ALL time even when angry. But then again my mars is in Libra. So...

I'm a Scorpio rising and I like it. Although it can be quite explosive with my Aries sun.

I do find myself being quite a balanced mix of the main traits of the 2 signs.

Cancer rising... bit of a pain in the ass sometimes.

Libra-Scorpio rising!!

I feel more with the Scorpio rising though! I am very private with my emotions and i conceal it well!! I'm quite reserved and aloof, don't waste my time chit-chatting/socializing with folks, i just dive quickly to work!! #workaholic!!! But I can be SOOO HOT HEADED (I have leo cusp sun and Leo in Mercury!) so my emotions can be QUITE INTENSE to the point it effects me health-wise ;( At times i wish i had a calmer rising. But then again, i think i just have bad blood from birth...genes. -___- ;; so it may not even be astrology. EH. It's 50/50!!!
