i will go to a mall with no intention of buying a thing-> get to a store I like -> find out they are having a huge sale where the things are so inexpensive they would be considered a 'steal' -> result: i come home with bagsss of stuff that I do not need or have space for!! Its so bad! Sometimes when I shop with a friend and this situation occurs they will be like "i dont see anything i like" i look at them crazy because i end up wanting to by everything! LOL

The Cancer Asc. at my work is one of the most "normal" and balanced people I've ever met. She randomly told me the other day to stay the way I am, because everyone else is out of their f*cking mind one way or the other.

I have people either tell me I'm intimidating or when they first met me I was so shy. I think for me it's due to shyness and not being too aggressive in new situations. Once comfortable my Leo side comes out and I never stop talking or entertaining, but I like taking time to warm up to people (unless drunk lol). I kind of like to scan everyone's personality so I don't waste my time, not like I am judging but it's true I usually can spot mean or rude people. We're definitely empathetic.

Now this I find very true. Depending on the moods/energies that we pick up from our surroundings, we seem to be able to both scare people off or make them feel right at home in our presence. imo it's really not that hard to break through our shell. I at least can never keep my reserved attitude going on for very long.

i loooooove coming off as a cancer to others. as a matter of fact, that tones down my no-fucks-to-give sag so that guys can actually find me approachable.

I don't really love to cook, but I LOOOOOOVE to eat ALL DAY EVERYDAY! Hate eating really cheap and raggedy food for too long (even thought my budget is more for that), because food just needs to be good! Taste good, feel good, smell good, make me feel gooooooooooooooooood! 😄

Im not needy one bit. I need nothing I don't already have, and I have myself. Love is overrated so good luck telling me I need that.

Have to go with this. I actually value space & freedom.

And romantic relationships will never be a priotity in my life. I don't live for that. Sure, they're lovely, inspiring and whatnot, and I love being in love & being loved as much as the next person, but imo. people put too much importance on them, especially women.

Yup. Cancer rising here. I've experienced bullying from school (mostly elementary and middle) because I was a pretty shy kid.
In high school everyone generally left me alone out of fear (that's my Scorpio placements kicking in)
The placement has definitely made me extremely sensitive and (really) cranky.

This same turn of events has happened to me in HS. And I have no Scorpio in my chart save for Pluto and Node. IME., Cancer Rising can appear very warm and approachable or very intimidating, depending on the vibes we pick up from from our surroundings/people we interact with, and it's no secret that they have a big effect on our moods. I've said this before but I think that we should work on filling the room with our positive energy, instead of absorbing/depending on the energy of others, and we indeed possess this ability as a Cardinal Rising. My social occasions have become so much more enjoyable since I've realized and started applying this.

This effects the men as well. Between the Scorpio moon and cancer rising the feels get to me way too much. I can't watch movies, music videos, or read somthing that's heavily on the emotional side.

It's extremely odd. Emotional things in my actual life never bother me. I'm like a rock. If it's fictional however I almost become the character, and literally feel what their expressing through acting.

Like the movie armageddon when Ben draws the straw and has to be the one to die for the sake of humanity. Then at the last second Bruce the father who hated his guts through the whole movie pushes him back into the spaceship to sacrifice his own life then tells Ben to take care of his daughter.

I want to come across as confident and sociable because I am when I am comfortable. But when I am unsure of my surroundings, or the people I am with, I just sit and observe. However, it's more when the focus is on conversation that I feel uncomfortable, conversation isn't my strong point. I find that I really am myself if the interaction is action orientated, for example if we're playing a game etc. Do you ever get that?
