Ever been stolen from?

Does anyone else struggle to get over the anger of the sheer violation of being stolen of personal possessions?

Over the years i've been robbed of 2 diamond rings, a Versace watch, diamond earrings, $ 8000 cash and Rolex box and papers (was wearing the watch thankfully) These items were stolen from people "close" to me. House movers and/or cleaners.

When I think about it I truly struggle with acceptance. Seething would be a good word to describe it.

Its weird because I'm generally a very live and let go type of person otherwise.

My cousin stole my girlfriend not once but twice after i stole her back.

Nobody close to me is dumb enough. Does it count if your own father has stole weed from you in the past? Lol

I have had two girls "break" in to a place of mine and a ex and they stole some of her shit but never mine.

I bet a safe would have cost far less.

I'm the person that will only have $ 1 to my name and I'll make it look like a milllion bucks... because of this people always think I have (and I don't share my personal business on top of that).. so people always take from me saying "she don't need this she got it" only if they knew...

I've had cigarettes stolen, shoes, purses, clothes (all my pieces are really unique but at a budget price and people just think it costs and it'll just dissapear) even my kids toys (like seriously the kids though ?) For example I bought my kids IPads (but from Amazon and the older version to save money) one is now missing like you can't go get one used or refurbished too?. I use to have money mistakenly "misplaced" then Now i stop carrying cash... I only deal with cards now. I also no longner invite people into my space... it's a pity because I would like to socialize more but can't trust anyone anymore.
