When looking at a basic wheel chart you can see the houses shown by their number in the inner circle. The tricky part is understanding what each symbol is. Once you know the zodiac sign symbols, its best to learn the planet and star symbols. For instance the sun is a circle with a smaller circle in it, and the moon is shaped like a crescent moon. If you look under the leo symbol for instance, you will see that is where the sun is. From there you can look and the inner circle numbers and see my leo sun falls in the 2nd house. If you look at the Scorpio sign, you will see that is where my moon is. Then looking at the inner numbers you will see it falls in the 5th house.

I would be lying if i said no lol. It took me a bit to figure out a chart wheel too.

It really depends on how fast you want to learn the deeper aspects of astrology. There are some great sights like astro.com that has a ton of information. Also there are some good astrologers on youtube who do great and explaining individual signs, placements, and houses. If you ever find yourself getting overwhelmed with too much information just tone the study down a bit and have fun with it. Astrology can be just as fun as insightful and interesting.
