8th house overlays (synastry)... *sigh*

This is my first time experiencing this overlay.

I'm the house person...

I am just so not ready for this kind of intensity; this really caught me off gaurd. This has been the most disturbing but also intriguing experience I've ever had with anyone and we haven't even really gotten started yet. I ran.. lol. Immature, I know.

It was almost an instant connection. He called it first and I didn't hesitate to agree. I had no doubts that we were "connected".

I know that if we get things off of the ground, this is going to be life changing for me... like drastically.

I don't know much else about our synastry or composite. I like the mystery but this is kinda scary for me. I'm just not ready for this kind of relationship even though it's definitely something I desire. Idk what to really expect.

My 12th house Mars is in his 8th house and his 8th house sun is in my 12th house. Mars and Sun are conjunct.

HA, I have so much to say about this.

I was the planet person. My Venus was in his 8th House. We had a very unhealthy thing going on. Lots of manipulation games, lack of honesty in communication, control issues, etc. I initially was intrigued by the person and I'm guessing this went the other way around as well. It's not worth unless you have an almost infinite amount of strength and energy to work through it.

Initially? What changed? Did the toxicity turn you off?

I had my Sun/Venus/Mercury in someone's 7th or 8th houses and I don't think it did anything to him.
Overrated.
If a girls personals were to touch a guy's 7th/8th it is meant to create some great chemistry 😐

I agree that 7th house is a bit overrated, imo it's very friendly but that 8th house is no joke. I read that the planet person (in our case, the sun) may not feel the same but the feeling is definitely mutual between us.

What do you guys think/what would you think of a person with an 8th house stellium in Cap? 🤔 Does this/would it play into the synastry? Getting a lot of vibes based on the discussion in here that the people in question sound like me lol.
