Reincarnation and astrology are mentioned in the Christian bible but people tend to only read what they want to. Even then believe what they want to.

A lot of things are mentioned in the bible, doesn't mean it's approved of...

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,

Deuteronomy 18:10

New testament beats old testament.

In actuality the Bible enforces the existence of signs through constellations while condemning all who attempt to "read" them. But then double standards rule reality.

Its called temptations. God puts many things here he doesn't want us indulging in. The purpose of these things being here are to test us. To test our faith and our loyalty to god.

The Book of Daniel has been mentioned as a source for this topic but, I believe the information has been taken out of context.

Prophecy and prophesizing is throughout the bible and there are many miracles performed. The difference is whether the act was performed by a believer or a pagan or atheist – that is the dividing line. The book of Daniel is an excellent example of divine insights and powers given by God vs. Divination.

Daniel was competing with pagans for the same rights and rituals. So, the verse quoted in this thread. ….”The magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers could not interpret the kings dreams.” Daniel is not a soothsayer, magician, or otherwise because he sought the same gifts from God. Whereas the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers did not believe in God and worshiped whatever pagan god was in trend for the day.

God bestows gifts to Christians for his glory and thus the salvation of others.

King Nebuchadnezzar was always seeking counsel, particularly for dream interpretation. He sought the advisement of pagans because he was one. He also sought the advisement of Daniel. If you could not perform the interpretation, you were killed. In this particular instance, that was the decree and as usual Daniel sought God.

Daniel 4:17

“Then Daniel returned to his house and discussed the matter with Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, 18 in order that they might seek compassion from the God of heaven regarding this secret, so that Daniel and his companions would not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

The Secret Is Revealed to Daniel

Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night, and Daniel blessed the God of heaven. Daniel answered,

‘blessed be the name of God forever and ever,

For wisdom and power belong to Him.

“It is He who changes the times and the seasons;

He removes kings and establishes kings.

He gives wisdom to the wise

And [greater] knowledge to those who have understanding!

It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;

He knows what is in the darkness,

And the light dwells with Him.

“I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers,

For You have given me wisdom and power;’

Daniel’s interpretation would be called soothsaying if he were a pagan, atheist, etc.; it weren’t for the fact God provided the answers, knowledge, gift.

Once Again....

Matthew 13:11 -32

"He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."

Question, do you honestly think that the bible is intact after being translated so many times? I mean sentence can't even survive a game of telephone .
I've gave a few reasons other than "because its in the bible" for why its wrong.

Question, do you honestly think the planets and stars have provided you with all this information you've received?

You're avoiding my question. Answer mine and I'll answer yours.
It's probably been changed a lot, yeah but I still believe god is against astrology.

And yup totally believe it's the planets or stars. I have strange encounters in my lucid dreams, is that the devil?
So how does that work? How do planets and stars tell us about ourselves? Where did the characteristics come from? How exactly was this information passed down to us from the planets/stars?

As far as your dreams, are you reffering to demonic encounters?

Nobody knowsssss

And ancient Egypt, I think. I assumed that someone noticed a pattern associated with different birthdays and such. Then it grew from there.

And idk, weird lucid dream shit. Not sure if it's demons, but my dreams scare witches lol.

Not much scares me, and I find dreams to be very interesting. Some are just pure entertainment, and others are memories, and more.

I hate to say it fam but religion is based off of astrology. The stories for one are copies from kemet and then the Romans rewrote everything at king James discretion hince the name king James version. They studied the movement of the stars and wrote it according to that. When their land was raided all history was destroyed and what was left was rewritten. Religion has been a tool for control.

I do believe in God but not religion. It's mostly myths based off the stars. The bible is a control mechanism and is mostly re written.
....

The Romans came centuries before King James.

Did you mean Emperor Constantine and his commissioning the first Bible?

None of that makes sense guestt.....satan may know us, but our signs fit us perfectly. It's universal.

Eve may have made a mistake, but her position is much different than ours, the "damned children of god" don't hold the same responsability as the first female (or 2nd, if you count Lilith....oh hey, another astrological reference!!!) it makes no fvking sense !!!!
I love Lilith. I prefer the version that has Lilith in it.

Well not the first one. I was speaking on well after the Romans came is that who is tho? My knowledge my differ from yours

Your knowledge is on point, just the timeline was confusing me. You're talking about King James of England and Scotland, who commissioned a new version of the first Protestant bible (which was commissioned by Henry VIII).
