If your moon placement is in Capricorn (or you have a lot of experience with Cap moon people) can you tell me how you think this placement influences the way you(or they) think and act, particularily when it comes to relationships and love? I would like to know everything I can about Capricorn moons.

A friend of mine who is a Cap moon the other day told me that he strongly believes that you should never let emotions influence your decisions, that everything mut be done rationally and that he never lets his emotions control him. This really stuck out to me as something that someone with a Capricon influence might say. Can anyone give me more insight to the way Capricorn moons think? Thank you!

I think emotions should only influence personal decisions and just that. Anything other than that should be strictly logical -- in terms of what makes since. Now, people can battle about what makes sense all day but at least the emotional aspect is out of the picture.

Now keep in mind, I am an Aquarius moon with a capricorn sun, which makes me extremely moody so I could change my mind 😉

Capricorn mooners .... I will let someone else give their opinion about capricorn mooners before I do .. because they tend to be very emotional characters but they don't want anyone to know it.

thanks guys. i've read from a few different sources about cap moons and they say pretty much the same thing, so i wanted to see if anyone would give me some personal self-analysis or stories and experiences so i can better wrap my mind around capricorn moon people. i'm trying to understand someone and their behavior (not the friend i mentioned above with the cap moon).
how does cap moon affect the way you view relationships?
how does cap moon affect the way you deal with falling in love and being hurt?
..the way you deal with forgiveness?
..the way you communicate your emotions?
etc etc things along those lines...

i get the general picture from reading astro descriptions, but i guess i wanted to see if someone with the particular placement could actually confirm or deny, and explain more in depth about this capricorn moon influence.

also, i've heard that the most difficult moon signs to have (as in the ones that have the most difficulty with relationships) are: capricorn, scorpio, and virgo. what do you guys think about this? i'm a virgo moon and i do think that my ocd-like, perfectionist, overly-picky, and worrying attitude causes me to find faults and doubt my relationships. what do you guys think about your "difficult" moons?

@Isabel: As a Capricorn mooner (lol), I find myself more friendly and outgoing the more I get to know someone. Also more so on the phone/text then in person. I am more shy and reserved in person when I first meet a guy I like. I have been told that I have a "cool" persona which masks my true feelings. I was surprised to hear that from a guy I was dating because I thought I was showing how I felt!

A bad thing I do though is to say something sarcastic when I am feeling too close, or even pull away so he doesn't think I am chasing him. But this makes me come across as flaky or unreliable which I'm not. Maybe its insecurity, because the more I like the guy, the less sure of myself I sometimes become. Then after time, and he has proved himself, I relax again.

This was actually hard for me to put into words...lol

I think this about sums it up.

Cap moons have difficulty relating to women because Capricorn is opposing Cancer, which is the moon's natural sign. They're men's men, a tad (or a lot) chauvinistic and will never pander to emotions as it makes them feel like they've steered off the road.

hmmm some of the cap sun and moon guys i've known definitely had distinct preoccupations with what it means to be a man...

i knew a fire sign with a cap moon who was very emotional (jealous, possessive, dramatic) but at the same time had a lot of difficulty letting himself be emotionally vulnerable when it came to positive displays of affection (both physical and verbal). very controlled and analytical when expressing positive feelings, and came off as too contrived even if it was honest.

I've posted this question a couple times over the years and it seems that I never get too much analysis- i wonder if cap mooners just don't seem to be on here too much or no one really cares to talk about it? 🙂 either way, thanks to everyone who responded!!! 🙂 cap moons and cap suns seem so difficult to get to the core of for me for some reason and i'm always trying to understand them. cap moons in particular. i've read that it's one of the most difficukt placements to have. it seems like a very strong one as well- one that overpowers whatever sun sign you might have.

This was posted on my birthday...And I have a Capricorn Moon...But ANYWAYS

I think you have to take into account the Sun and Ascendant too...

I have a Sagittarius Sun and Gemini Ascendant...
I am VERY serious about Love and Emotions...And They don't get expressed...Other than Family...When I rarely do express My DEEP inner emotions they come out As Jokes...Normally in like subliminal messages...I've just told you how I feel in a joke....Right Now...Pluto in Conjunct My moon so...Its not a very good placement for we moon in Capricorns...Very intense emotions..And I've been getting jealous....Ehh..Thats sooo not me

@Mz: I do this too, I am a Sag/Scorp cusper (Sag sun) with a Capricorn moon, Virgo Rising though. And this Pluto thing explains a lot that's going on with me right now.

I found out that Capricorn moon women love baby men. child men.

Capricorn/cancer axis.
hell no, lisa!

childish men have always repulsed me.

which is why i dated much older than me. more mature and stoic than me.

i am a hella strong woman, but i still need to feel like a woman.

lol

I guess it goes both ways. Older men or younger men.

I have Capricorn, but I don't like too old or too young, and certainly NOT baby men either.

we'd probably both get annoyed at baby men.
