Posted by Imagicationlol I totally understand what you mean now. you are fine đ
No, my little tree's Ceres is in Virgo.
Not so evident would be that I take poetic liberty in referring to my daughters as my trees - there's the bigger little one and the little one, you see. Neither of them fall very far from me, but to see them as mere apples would be a travesty.

Posted by ImagicationYeah. I do notice their sensitivity to being hurt as well. I have to be careful.Posted by AjuNot only that, they can literally become heartbroken at the slightest sign of having disappointed in any way.
It's like they have an infinite amount of patience with you and will do anything for you.
Of those I have charts for, no, there is no one else with anywhere near as close a significant Ceres synastry with my luminaries or angles. I would be surprised if there was anyone else ever in my life to be honest.
If I ever want to not be alone while running errands or going to the grocery store, all I have to do is tell her I'm going and 9 out of 10 times she asks to come with.click to expand

Mine's Ceres in SCORPIO:
Ceres Is In Detriment In Scorpio. If Ceres does rule Taurus, then Scorpio is its sign of detriment. Obviously, a planet that rules a sign will find its detriment in the sign opposing the one it rules, because of the opposite nature of the signs. Taurus is sensuality, while Scorpio is sexuality. Taurus represents slow, gradual pleasure while Scorpio represents orgasmic intensity. Taurus owns; Scorpio shares. Taurus maintains separateness; Scorpio merges. Taurus represents life; Scorpio represents death. Taurus rejects change while Scorpio attracts it. Clearly then, if Taurus is a pure expression of Ceres nature, expressed in the form of a zodiac sign, then Scorpio is its polar opposite and gives Ceres very little scope for her true expression.
âWhatâs mine is mine; whatâs yours is mineâ might be the motto of Ceres in Scorpio. This placement of Ceres can be ultra possessiveâwith a little Watery boundarilessness thrown in. In Scorpio, Ceres can feel moved to shareâthen resent the results. A native with Ceres in Scorpio might feel that their own money must come from others, but resent the dependency and its other costs (some of which may be emotional). Another tendency for Ceres in Scorpio natives is to experience financial âdeaths and rebirths.â This means that sometimes situations emerge which drain oneâs whole, hard-earned financial reserve in one staggering blow, requiring a rising from the financial ashes. As Nietzsche put it, âwhat doesnât kill me makes me strongerâ and these natives need to learn to smell change coming and submit to it without a fight before disaster strikes. A habit of lingering in a state of pain for the sake of financial stability is too costly for these people, as resentment will lead to self-sabotage which will force a change that may seem beyond oneâs control but actually was unconsciously self-created. Do not allow bitterness, resentment and hatred to nest in your heart. And stay away from financially lucrative arrangements that bear an intolerable emotional price tag.
Ceres is the Earth Mother, also known as Mother Nature, one of two mother archetypes in the chart (the other being the Moon) and placement of Ceres in Scorpio can intensify the mother/child connection, leading to a hyper-bonded relationship that can feel codependent or entangled at times. This can manifest as a mother who possesses, overprotects or engulfs the child or delivers TMI (âtoo much informationâ) about her life as an adult. Things no child wants to know about a parent. If an individual with Ceres in Scorpio did experience this kind of mothering as a child, it may be difficult not to pass on this kind of parenting as an adult. If you have this placement, beware of smothering your child or oversharing adult experiences that your child is too young to understand.
Certainly, a Ceres-in-Scorpio person can face many lessons about unattachment and self-reliance. Whatâs most difficult is that those lessons tend to come the hard wayâby having the things you rely on most be wrenched away, just when you were feeling safe. At times it may even seem like an undeserved cosmic punishment.
Ceres in Scorpio can have a restlessness thatâs counterintuitive for this Fixed planet in a Fixed signâalways pressing for satisfaction and satiation, but needing extremes in order for satisfaction to registerâextreme wealth, extreme affection, extreme stability and safetyâwhich means that relaxed enjoyment is hard to come by. More always seems to be needed and yet the wolf of fear remains at the door, perpetually howling.
CERES IN SCORPIO is an exceptionally powerful placement and nurtures others by imparting a sense of lifeâs most significant passages and the importance of deep family bonds. Ceres here nurtures others or self through total transformation, a process that involves emotional self-control. Under stress, personal relationships may be plagued by jealousy, possessiveness, or resentment. Ceres in Scorpio may be a healer or facilitator.
Ceres in Scorpio people tend to feel nurtured through sex. They could also make their sexual partners feel nurtured. This is wonderful if you are dating them, but more of a problem if the person with this placement happens to be your child. Contact with anything deep, mysterious, or transforming will also bring up that nurtured feeling. Those with this placement would probably (assuming no severe afflictions to Ceres in their chart) feel nurtured if they visited Pompeii or some other archeological ruin. Probably, Ceres in Scorpio would be a good placement for a doctor or heath care professional because Scorpio rules healing and they could make their patients feel nurtured during the therapeutic process.
Ignores setbacks and defeats while continuing on toward their goals. There is regenerative power in times of ill health. Psychic ability may be present without training.
These natives identify nurturance with intense and deep emotional bonding. Ideally, the mothering experience was intimate and fostered a sense of emotional self-control. Nurturance is expressed through emotional commitments to others and through acting as a catalytic agent that transforms or heals them. Self-acceptance may be gained through transforming one's own inner negativity and lack of trust into the healing power of love. Imbalance occurs when feelings of isolation are expressed as selfishness, jealousy, envy, anger and revenge.

Posted by queenaries_(: Do you feel the need to protect or nurture them as well?
I know two cap women
Both seem motherly to me
Even though they are not even much older than me

My Ceres is Sagittarius - the below is pretty accurate
CERES IN SAGITTARIUS nurtures others by showing them how to explore their environment and expand their horizons. One nurtures oneself and others by finding a sense of personal direction; one encourages an optimism that creates success, and how to enjoy life as a journey. Under stress, this Ceres placement can lead to the feeling that life is meaningless or that one has no moral compass.
My Ceres is here. Knowledge, wisdom, and adventure are the nurturers here. This placement can make you feel nurtured while on long journeys. If you are intellectually inclined, you could get that nurturing feeling through giving advice to people or by teaching or instructing them in some way. Reading about abstract philosophical topics could have the same effect. You can also make other people feel nurtured or inspired by giving them advice or instruction.
Enjoys mental speculation about various theories and ideas. A natural sense of freedom combined with genuine optimism may cause these natives to overextend themselves. In every case investigated so far, this placement has had periods of uncontrolled growth such as warts, tumors and cysts that were benign but had to be removed surgically.
These people identify nurturance with the freedom to explore and expand their horizons. Ideally, the mothering experience encouraged and fostered these needs. Nurturing is expressed through teaching others how to expand their mental and physical horizons (e.g., the guru or spiritual teacher). In addition, the Ceres in Sagittarius individual may help others to develop a philosophy or belief system that gives meaning to his or her life. Self-acceptance may be based on the ability to find purpose in one's life and constantly move forward in consciousness. The failure to do so may lead to the belief that life is meaningless and purposeless ("a tale told by an idiot, signifying nothing" - Hamlet). Feelings of aimlessness that cause the person to wander without direction may result.

Mine is somewhat similar to this one too though because my Ceres is in the 8TH HOUSE.
Have you connected with any scorpio suns or moons? Have you felt this way with them?
Like you just wanted to constantly make sure they were nurtured and okay?
I don't have experience with Scorpio suns but I had a male friend who was a Scorpio mooner. We haven't contacted each other since 2015 but I remember him being protective, caring and helpful towards me.
Here's your CERES IN VIRGO:
CERES IN VIRGO is strongly placed, and fosters a sense of service to others, a love of work, and a feeling of competence. This placement leads to excellence in craftsmanship, but under stress can bring a perfectionist attitude. Parents may be overly critical, or oneâs inner parent may never be satisfied with the result. Work in the health services or food industry is common with this placement.
Put them to work, especially detailed work. Sometimes Ceres in Virgo people will try to nurture you by criticizing you. Don't let them get away with it. However, they can also feel nurtured if you give them a highly detailed criticism. This is OK in moderation, but don't let yourself get carried away. If you are a parent with a Ceres in Virgo child, always give them work to do around the house - or even in your business!
Likes to nurse people. The nurturers of the world, they give of their own energies to revitalize and restore people who come into their sphere of contact. Being interested in nutrition, they care for the body properly. Here is growth without waste.
These people identify nurturance with perfection or with service. Ideally, the mothering experience can foster the child's sense of competence, discrimination, and self-discipline, which gives the ability to extend skills to others. Nurturing is expressed through teaching others to achieve excellence by right application of skills and talents. Feelings of self-worth arise through mastering a skill or technique and expressing it in the work world, or through feeling useful to others. Imbalance often results when the children are constantly criticized for their efforts, no matter how good they were. This can lead to an obsessive need to be perfect and to be critical of the imperfections of others.click to expand

Posted by DonumDeiyep in the poorhouse lol. so chill out :-P
CERES IN CANCER is strongly paced, and feels deep emotional bonds with family members, especially with the mother and/or children. Ceres here expresses itself in a kind and caring way, and provides loved ones with both emotional and physical support. Under stressful aspects, this placement can lead to an overly sentimental or dependent relationship. Ceres in Cancer also nurtures other and self with food.
These people feel nurtured around the home. Hugs definitely can work here. So can housework. They want to be mothered and are good at mothering in turn. The negative side is they may get the "Cancer Crazies" when they feel a need for nurturing, the "Nobody loves me, nobody cares about me, and I'm going to die in the poorhouse" syndrome. In that case, just tease them like crazy. It will shock them out of it.
Tends to care for people and animals efficiently. They may seem impersonal as mothers because of the blending of emotions and mental expression. They would prefer to train and teach rather than to cuddle and smother. This is a practical expression of domestic concerns that relieves the moodiness of Cancer.
These individuals receive nurturance through bonding with the mother, feeling loved, and being fed. If these needs are met at an early age, these people will excel at caring for others physically and emotionally. Self-acceptance is based on one's ability to express feelings and master emotions. Imbalance occurs when the child is either deprived of nurturance or smothered with love and affection. Excessive neediness or emotional dependency are the resulting psychological afflictions.
Lmao @ â....Iâm going to die in a poorhouseâ đ
My Taurus placements arenât helping this brand angst either! đ±

ceres in scorpio what that mean?

Posted by NelsonSacramentoYou will be a good caring father đ
Ceres ĐŻ Taurus, in House XI
âThere is something of the âgood motherâ in you, regardless of gender or parental status. You radiate a dependable and protective quality, something solid and stable, that less assured people are going to depend on just as much as you let them! You may get leant on more than is good for you at times, and so encounter lessons in boundary setting. The natural world is a tonic for you. Essentially you are peaceable, but can be aroused to strong anger if you see the weak being hurt in some way. You have a drive for material security, especially if you are providing for children, because you want the best for them even more than you do for yourself. Beware of over-identifying with possessions: it is your integrity and inner strength that sustain you, not attachments to things.â

Posted by AjuWe have that switched. Mine is in Pisces and I cosign to what you said. Only suns though, don't care much for moon or rising.
What sign is your Ceres in your chart?
Do you tend to be overly protective to someone who conjuncts your Ceres?
The goddess so powerful enough to bring Pluto to his knees and
force him to compromise so that she can still get her daughter back for a time.
Ceres is in Virgo in my chart and I feel people with their sun, moon, or Rising here
I instantly just want to protect. I want to make sure they are always okay.
The energy of compassion, maternal love, protection, abundance, compromise....
I can even be a bit over protective and I feel I can get on their nerves if I'm not careful.![]()
