What are your thoughts about this asteroid?

Chiron in the natal chart is said to show where we are more able to heal ourselves. Chiron is the teacher, the healer...

In the mythology, Chiron was known for his knowledge and skill with medicine.

Chiron by placement shows in what area of our life we need to learn how to heal our wounds, become a master by doing so and teach others how to heal similar wounds.

Funny thing is that Chiron was an astrologer too.

I got Chiron in Gemini and it allegedly causes problems in communication. Well.......I got a motor mouth with my mind going at 100 thoughts a minute, so imagine getting my motor mouth to get all those thoughts out at the same time. I get tongue-tied sometimes and it's been a problem for me in the past.

To get over it, I've had to learn to sort out what I'm gonna say in my head first and THEN say it out loud.

Yep, we've discussed Chiron a couple of times last month.

What does Chiron mean in astrology?

Chiron is often noted in astrological charts and forecasts. He is not a planet, a star, or a node of the Moon. So who is he? And what power does he wield over our charts?

In Greek mythology, Chiron was a centaur, a breed of beings that were half man, half horse. They were known for being raucous and overly indulgent; however, Chiron was known conversely as being intelligent and civilized. He was a noted astrologer, healer, and oracle.

It is said that Chiron sacrificed his life so that mankind could obtain the use of fire. Being the son of Cronus, a Titan, he was allegedly immortal. There are varying accounts of his death, but all include an arrow poisoned with the blood of the Hydra. He was unable to heal himself and willingly gave up his life; he was honored with a place in the sky as the constellation Centaurus.

In astrology, Chiron is a comet that was discovered in 1977; it has a unique orbit, lying between Saturn and Uranus (and actually crossing over the orbits of the two planets). Because it was not pulled in by the gravitational pull of either planet and made a moon, astronomers have deducted that the comet has not been around for more than two million years. In our natal chart, Chiron is considered the “wounded healer” (stemming from the mythological story). He represents our deepest spiritual wounds and our work to heal these wounds.

The house and sign position of Chiron in a chart show just where we will have recurring issues on which work is needed. This need not be a negative, as we are able to heal our deepest-seated wounds with proper care and work. Chiron’s placement in a chart also shows where we may do well to teach others (even if it is regarding a topic that we may not necessarily excel ourselves).

Just as with any retrograde motion or other “negative” transit, we shouldn’t view it as a negative, but rather something out of which something positive will arise if we work hard enough.

*********************************

Chiron in Pisces and 2nd House (money, values, work, daily routines, and environment): This person's ability to help, heal, and teach others, and where one has much experience is imaginative, other worldly, impressionable, and seeks transcendence of self. Most often this manifests in the area of life dealing with self image, self worth, and material security. This is a major aspect of their psyche!

Pisces Chiron Sign -- Chiron in Pisces is always in crisis. This is a universal level crisis, nothing small ever hits this combination. They may be religious or spiritual crises that keep this combination in a tizzy. They may be at risk for depression or drug use. They may feel they have lost faith with the universe. They may feel guilty even though there is no reason to feel that way. They may play the victim. They have an innate ability to attract those down on their luck and they try their best to help. They need clarity. Disillusionment and betrayal can make life seem harsh. They must learn that sometimes things happen for a reason. By examining their problems, they may find deeper insight and connection.

NOTE: I don't BELIEVE a "friend" has this in his chart, and therefore, has relationship issues with the opposite sex. He just hasn't opened up his heart, body, mind, and soul to have RELEASED the past, in order for his "future" door to be opened.

🤗 cyber hugs!

Love,

Eva

Chiron aspects holds a lot of importance on how you could overcome these wounds.

Chiron in the 11th could indicate that you fear being ordinary, you crave for originality but always feel that you're like everybody else.

The 11th house rules unexpected things, bizarre circumstances, originality, friendships (not the best friends). So you may feel that you life is boring and you may feel a lack of fullfilment.

The feeling of the house being more important than the sign is because the house tells where we feel this blockage or limitation, what is more clear for us. The sign shows HOW do you feel this limitation.

My chiron is in the 4th house. It's kind of a paradox. We've had major family issues, yet we are very close. They're #1 in my life.

But I won't lie, these issues have hugely affected how I relate to people and ultimate trust issues.

I don't trust anyone that I don't see as family.
How is it aspected
Chiron in cancer, in the 4th.

Sextile taurus sun/mercury.

Trine pisces Mars and scorpio pluto.

Conjunct Jupiter.

Opposite capricorn uranus/neptune.

My chart is so weird you guys.

I have Mars in Leo in the 10th House.

MC in Leo in the 10th House.

And then Chiron in Leo in the 10th House.

It's like I have all this Leo, 10th House, warrior, spotlight, performer energy yet at the same time it's still my biggest wound.

And it's so true for me.

lol
My MC is in Leo too.

Are you interested in public careers like performing/the arts or things to do with speaking?

i do have major trust issues stemming back to all this as well.

Chiron in Aries is an exercise of self-discovery. You will often find the natives speaking of their spiritual quest, the need to find personal meaning in awareness and existence. Some cope with their early wounds by withdrawing, others over-compensate aggressively. While the latter group may be courageous trailblazers when there is a personal investment in the spiritual process, unless there are other spiritual aspects in the chart, their spiritual seeking rarely extends beyond a purely personal quest. There are associations between head wounds, headaches and other head-area injuries with an afflicted Chiron in Aries, but one should look to other aspects for confirmation.

Chiron in Cancer or the Fourth House: This person feels like a fish out of water. They often express feelings of "otherness". Some joke about being adopted or being space aliens because they feel so different from their home and cultural groups. There can be indications of childhood abuse, abandonment by the father, and early childhood trauma, if other aspects support this, or there are hard aspects related to family. Chiron in Cancer can indicate difficulties in starting one's own family later in life. Some actively refuse to start families of their own because their early life was so insecure.

Imp does that ring true for you? Does for me...

Anyone have anything for Libra chiron in the 12th house?
You may actually have issues with being spiritual because it may not fit others opinions- especially those that are close to you. You may speak of your beliefs with close ones, but beyond those relationships may feel judged for it.

May do best with using the cardinal aspect to define yourself and going that way.

You may bend to your own will and project this on others and randomly blame them. Take responsibility more than sides.

Hm yeah I don't exactly put my interest in Astrology and other spiritual-related things out there. My close friends know but I don't talk a lot in detail about them (mostly cause they wouldn't really know what I'm talking about/lack of interest).

I actually struggle with the cardinal sign traits like getting started on things, having more of that ambition and drive, and being assertive even though I'm a Capricorn (aqua cusp) Sun. Maybe it's my other planets affecting my abilities too

Used to be before that was stripped away from me...

Aka Chiron in Leo in 10th House 😛

But I'm a performer at heart x

I relate to the Leo MC aspect of wanting to be admired for your work/job. I've always wanted to feel like I'm doing something important and worthwhile and have people look up to me for what I do
