Right when you are beginning to hate yourself for what kind of underachieving loser you are, you bump into an Astrology link/book.

That thing praises how wise and intelligent and philosophical and old spiritied and pragmatical and and and you are.

A few days ago somebody put the mymayan.com here. Today I checked it. wow.

How come Astrology buyers are so cruel to us? while the sellers are so nice?

The Mayan calendar also predicted the world was going to end in Dec. 2012. So there you go.

well, the thread is actually about how Astrology sellers pamper us (like mothers do)

PS:

(and Astrology buyers make us feel bad. I mean like average dxp newbie)

that's not true.

the guys which needed a new date for the end of the world misinterpreted that one cycle of calendar ended. they did not want to mention that a new cycle would start.

Misinterpretation of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar was the basis for a popular belief that a cataclysm would take place on December 21, 2012. December 21, 2012 was simply the day that the calendar went to the next b'ak'tun, at Long Count 13.0.0.0.0. The date on which the calendar will go to the next piktun (a complete series of 20 b'ak'tuns), at Long Count 1.0.0.0.0.0, will be on October 13, 4772.

I think the root of the problem is that the year does not match the earth-moves-around-sun-cycle.

Mayan astrology is a variation of Mesoamerican astrology, one of the most forward-thinking kinds of astrology of its time. The Mayan Calendar, or Tzolk'in, is comprised of 20 Day Signs and 13 Galactic Numbers, making a 260-day calendar "year."

so every astro-intuitive & software-developer pair who decides to create a new astrological web site (like happened to CA) come to another result. cause the number of trapps is bigger than just simple Ophelius.
