Well I used the default and listed a city in CA as my location and it was pretty much the same as my home n. So it doesn't look like a location thing.

If the whole houses system is inaccurate, does that mean if you have a Sag planet in a Scorpio house- it's Scorpio? Or a Taurus planet in a Gemini house- it is really Gemini- etc etc?

Like 90% of my planets are in the wrong house.
yeah pretty much.

but I thought you meant further North than Cali. CA is fine. There's just certain longitudes north and south of the equator that Placidus cannot cover. It's not that it's innacurate as a house system. It's just that literally it cannot cover every birth chart on the planet. Some people have to use whole signs. But really we're talking people born extremely far North or South. Near the poles
Are you talking about Gauquelin charts when you say that a taurus planet(for instance) in a gemini house makes it gemini?
No, I was just agreeing in general to the idea when it comes to whole signs but not agreeing word for word.

I know only about the Gauquelins' stats on cadent houses and careers but I don't know anything about Gauquelin charts.
You can see it in astro.com under Pullen. Basically, if you have:

Sun Cancer(8th)
Moon Gemini(6th)
Merc Gemini(7th)
Venus Leo(9th)

etc. It would look like:

Sun Scorpio
Moon Virgo
Merc Libra
Venus Sagittarius

...if I have understood it correctly.

That makes sense to me. I'll have to look into this "Gauquelin" concept.

You didn't answer my question.. how did you know I lived in Texas?
Just idle curiosity on my part as I'd seen your photos and chart before.

Ah. So you know me quite well then it would seem... I am surprised I got around the internet to that extent. I'll just leave it at that since you inconveniently disabled private messaging.

Gauquelin is more renowned for what tiziani said about cadent houses and carreer. I don't know much about it or how accurate it is yet, but it's a fun read to me, so...🙂

Yeah my ex-girlfriend was all over your work and I digged it too. I just had to ask to confirm, that's all it was.

I've had a pretty good track record in my life with determining a person's character, but I know another 7th house sun who has misjudged many times and been fooled by people in painful ways.
ima 7th house sun too.

we like people that like us IMO. that can't be a good judge. it lacks impartiality.

but why would you lke someone who doesn't like you?

just be polite and move along.

and if someone likes you, i can't believe a 7th houser would not just be more discriminate.

i mean, they are so easily persuaded by people who want to like them??

lol@virgo in 11th house. Virgo is very discriminating and snooty like. I get that energy from earth energy in general. especially capricorn.

i do notice when i research alot of 7th house sun/venus are with libra dominants, or packed 7th housers too. So they all "get" eachother, in a way that they need to function equally for eachother.
Are you wondering if any sun sign in the 7th is considered being fallen or if it's only the sun in libra in the 7th that is fallen? I cant appropriately answer you either way because I'm not sure but for the sake of understanding when someone does answer you I just wanted to get clarification on what you're asking.
suns in the houses where the sun is in fall/debility are not great judges of character IMO.
including Aqua? Sun is in detriment in Aqua...

Not sure i agree about being a bad judge of character, I do give many chances.

aren't you a packed 1st houser?? Abraham Lincoln is a first houser, and so was Eva Braun, 8th house moon. and she got herself a very powerful Dictator. lol 1st housers/8th housers love power it seems. but then she had capricorn rising.

but she was an air dominant/earth dominant.

omg i didnt look deeper into Eva Braun's chart with Hitler..... she's got Cancer in 7th.....and he's taurus in 7th.

and...taurus/cancer...

two peas in a pod!!! 😄 😄 astrology is awesome!!

Maybe it's because I'm young and selfish but I'm not too interested in studying the signs of famous people. However, I find it quite inspiring how you use history to understand astrology or at East you make great correlations. I just like when people are passionate. I enjoy reading your posts even though I don't look further into the information 🙂
