Is there some astrological explanation for why I keep becoming attracted to Capricorns?

There have been so many over the last couple years...I have no idea why, because when I read about a Capricorn male (in general) it seem very evident it wouldn't be a good match for me, but over and over again I am attracted to their energy.

Is there something in my chart that could help explain this? I have no actual Cap in my chart.

Sun: Gemini
Moon: Virgo
Venus: Aries
Mercury: Taurus
Mars: Gemini
Asc: Libra

To me, it seems from my chart I would be mostly attracted to Geminis (which I'm not) and Aries (which I am most of the time).

It hasn't really been the same for any one of them...one was really quite shy, and another was life of the party...but there is something very masculine and CALMING about them for me. Calming is really the best way to describe it. There isn't much that has that affect on me. They aren't quite as manly/brute as the Taurus man, but I just feel totally safe around them. I get all doe-eyed, which is really quite bizarre for me.

Maybe it is in your houses that you attract these types. And not just what you posted here. Look at 7th, 5th, 12,

7th House: Aries (Venus)
5th House: Aquarius (Jupiter)
12th House: Virgo (Moon)

Only thing in Capricorn is Neptune (3rd House)

Where is Cap in your chart? It appears to be down by the nadir (4th house). So maybe Cap feels Cancer to you - home, emotions, maternal, nurturing, grounding, foundations. Where is Saturn Cap's planet?

I've got Saturn in the 2nd House (Scorpio).

But that definitely describes the feeling.

That's a pretty good description from my experience....Taurean energy without the Taurean love. Both masculine in their general energies, but where the Taurus man is loving and sweet and emotional, the Capricorn is more cold and slow to open up.

So perhaps it's just that Capricorn men have something that MOST women are attracted to and there's nothing that outwardly account for the strong attraction in my chart.

Saturn (Cap's planet) opposed to mercury in the 8th. Mercury rules most of you - the sun, mars, and moon. Saturn energy stimulates you.

And there is a paternal (father) love thing there, too. Capricorn men may represent that paternal love you have been seeking. It all works its way down to your 4th house (some say the father).

This would also make sense.

I am always drawn to Cancer men as well probably for the same reason. And once in awhile a Virgo.

Just checked and most of them have had not only Venus in Aquarius but also their Moons...could add to their stoic nature, but if I were to describe what I'm attracted to, it would never be the detachment that this combination of placements seems to make.

So maybe a Capricorn with a warmer moon would be like candy for you.

Taurus Moon, Cancer Moon, Scorpio Moon, or for a little wild, a Leo Moon, although a Leo moon may be too needy for your sun sign. Other placements count as well.

Ok so maybe I shouldn't write Caps off all together. My last experience left me a little bummed, but yes perhaps with a more emotional Moon it would be a different experience. I've had three loves in my life, Aries, Scorpio and Cancer so maybe that Cancer/Scorpio energy really would be something nice to a Cap.

Never met anyone with a Leo Moon I don't think.

The Scorpio I'm dating has a Gem moon and matches nothing like some of other Scorpios with jealousy and possessiveness. Completely different experience, so I think thats a good outlook to have.

Thats interesting because i think if the sun scorpio is paired with a water moon it just feeds the issue. Fire moons brings out the aggression possibly.

When he drank, he could be SO mean, so possessive, so jealous and infuriating (why we broke up). But the times he wasn't drunk and actually even certain times when he was drunk, it was the most flowery words, he would write me poetry and check the air pressure in my tires and tell me he loved me a million times a day. It was hard to break away from that bond...in fact, we really never have, we just know we don't work out as a couple. We still try every year or so when both of us are single. Always has the same conclusion.

Ahh ok another interesting possible link.

It just seemed too coincidental that over the years I kept (and still keep) being drawn toward Caps. No matter if they are physically what I would normally be attracted to or not.

Perhaps, but maybe the better way to look at it is that the Aqua needs love too and is thus attracted to someone who is loving and outward with their emotions (good or bad). They are attracted to the traits they wish they could maybe develop in themselves, or the traits they are afraid of.
