You wouldn't think someone with their Sun in a Fire sign AND their Moon in a Fire Sign would complain about a Fire sign placement.
I actually read on a website that for a Leo moon, the sun in Leo was their "competition".. But how true that is I do not know but what I do is is that I have a Leo bestie and even though we do get on, there is competition... She does compete and compare my life with hers. She has a scorp moon...

This right here is where you made the grand distinction your royal heinass. You're trying to separate their behavior from that of Leo Suns, just own up to it. Btw an obvious distinction, why even need to make the distinction? I personally don't see Leo moons as talkative, you're just trying to separate your Leo sun from the few alleged Leo moon bad apples (IYO).
