Taurus is the most common sun sign among influential men, followed by Leo and Pisces. Capricorns and Cancers also appear frequently. For moons, Cap is the most common, with Sagittarius and Virgo also common. These signs are associated with leadership, resilience, and vision, which may contribute to their historical impact.
Nikola Tesla-Cancer/Libra

For instance, there is in no way any firm dating (not even close, according to scholarship) for the Buddha's date of birth.Same for Genghis Khan, but although we have a year, it isn't quite a firm dating - still scholarly debate about that. And we don't know the month with any certainty.
But anyway, there's still a lot of meat in terms of the rest of the list.
Unrelated to the OP, but I recall seeing a documentary that was his descendants all across Europe. They found trace hereditary DNA in a number of people. This isn't shocking, but I recall the amount of people the researchers posited as descendants quite shocking. If the man wasn't fighting, he was....you know.
Like I said, it was just for fun and the list *is* subjective, but I think it's not too bad for the most part.
Quest4Water, was the documentary called the Journey of Man by chance?
Good one! Let me add a few more...I'll analyse later.
Copernicus - Pisces/Sag
Thomas Edison - Aqua/Sag
Steve Jobs - Pisces/Aries
Bill Gates - Scorp/Aries
Ben Franklin - Cap/Pisces

Of the 56 presidential elections in U.S. history, 20 percent (11) have been won by those born under the sign of Aquarius

I go to wikipedia, and a few of these birthdates are off. So many people real birthdates are unknown since it was so long ago.
I don't play with Libras. They are crazy to me, but they have powerful energy when put to use.
huh? Adolf Hitler? then we should add Osama Bin Laden too: pisces with a cancer moon
According to wikepedia..
Ghandi-Libra
Ghenis Khan-unknown
Buddha-unknown
Davinci-Aries(April 15th)

I don't recall, it's been a number of years since.
Adam Smith, father of economics-Gem/Scorp
Henry Ford-Leo/Aqua
I'm posting him as influential since he is basically the founder of manufacturing/distribution on such a scale.
OK fair enough, but even if we toss out the persons whose birth dates are unknown, Taurus sun still seems to take the power cake.
Btw, I didn't put in any women in the list because birth dates were even harder to find. It would be fun to also make a list of influential women in history and see if any signs crop up regularly.
Taurus isn't a surprise at all.

i can't find that Henry Ford stole the idea, well except from slaughterhouse assembly lines, but i thought he had a minion underneath him that actually presented and implemented the idea, can't find it anywhere
Now I see what you're saying. IIRC correctly, he hired a french-men that helped him streamline his labor pool.
I would be FURIOUS if my ideas were stolen and someone else got the credit for it.
John Calvin, pretty much founded capitalism based on religious tenets- Cancer/Taurus

How about the founding father of American industry?
Incorrect, Rockefellar was oil tycoon who would've never become said tycoon without the widely owned Model T.
Ford basically kicked off the oil industry which led to both banking and a resurgence in the steel industry after the railroad industry declined.

Anyways if you want to read more about TESLA, some conspiracy theories in there, but the fact is he was a GENIUS and we should thank him for our power plants and our Earth having LIGHt:
Just link to The Oatmeal and be done with it.

One of the worst lists I've ever seen.LOL @ Jesus. Buddha. Genghis Khan. Scratch them. No official birthdays.
LOL @ the western centric list. Including muppets like Reagan and Clinton without including Den XiaoPing or Ho Chi Minh whose vietnamese army defeated the Americans.

Exactly, and most of these are political leaders.
How about some REAL influential people, whose influence can still be found today.
Think
- Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the internet)
- Alexander Fleming (inventor of Penicillin)
- Johannes Gutenberg (inventor of modern day printing)
- Alfred Nobel (inventor of dynamite)
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren% C3% A9_Descartes">Ren? Descartes (modern thinking)
Some other awesome people we don't know the date of birth of are:
- Ibn S??n??, aka Avicenna (polymath extraordinaire)
- Olaudah Equiano (Who was very important in the abolition of British slave trade)
- Cai Lun (Inventor of paper)
Now, my list is no better than any other one out there but it does include some people who have done more than some of the world leaders in the OP.

Alfred Nobel stole dynamites from Chinese, and that's an inventor?WTF Chinese had fireworks for thousands of years. Genghis Khan utilized dynamites in their war tactics after their Chinese invasion.
In a sense. Gunpowder is not the same as finding a more stable way to use nitroglycerine. You could say he ushered in the age of high explosives.
The times of birth could be wrong for all I know.
"- Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the internet)"
Internet was a project of dod, wasn't it?
Tim Lee has invented WWW. (along with his Team, as often the case for new technologies)

Thomas Edison came from WEALTH, while i read Tesla had difficulty and didnt have money backing.
Thomas Edison is also a 2nd house (taurus) sun there.
which represents money and wealth.
so let's just put Amadeus Wolfgang Mozart then if Edison is too crappy for you.
holy crap. Mozart is a 5th house sun and he married a Cap sun woman.
so interesting. the sun /saturn thing and the hidden synastry. jeez.
Louis Pasteur - Cap/Gem
And alot of house 3.
