“Pluto-Venus aspects are not about durability, you need some serious Saturn in the synastry in order to make it last. Pluto-Venus is about explosion, is about deep transformation and rebirth. Now, if you are fortunate enough to have some Saturn aspects as well in the chart, like Saturn on the Ascendant in the Composite (which will make the relationship very self-contained), or, even better, some smooth Venus-Saturn interaspects in the syanstry, then you’re in for a real treat. Not only you’ll experience the intensity of the Pluto-Venus dance, but you will have and enduring relationship. Meaning that each crisis will push you higher and higher. The potential for evolution in this combination is enormous. Yes, there will be a roller coaster, but with each deadly spin you’ll evolve into something bigger or better, AND, you will do this together – Saturn will take care about that. And will take about that for a long time.“

Found this description about pluto venus aspects in synastry. Can you relate?

My cap and I have pluto conjunct venus + saturn sextile venus

This is very true for us. After each setback we come out stronger and even more stable together.

I’ve never experienced something like that before. Usually when I was going through some setbacks with my ex bfs we always argued (badly) and later on reconceiled.
But never like I do with my cap, it’s not just saying “ok I was wrong I’m sorry etc” we dig very very deep in eachothers emotions and love eachother after that more than ever.

Tell me your experiences with venus-pluto or saturn-venus connections

I agree with this actually. Any hope of a lasting relationship needs some saturn contacts to the venus yes, but any of the personal really. Hard aspects can bind for better or worse, either way it'll have its ups and downs.

The trines and sextiles to saturn are more easier but subtle.

Pluto seems to be the fire starter

I don't like it when someone's Saturn aspects my Venus. It feels way to stifling and I go running for the hills.

Right now I have Pluto conj Venus and Sun square Saturn plus a Pluto/ Moon double whammy.

Pluto is definitely a fire starter. The conjunct seems to be obsessive on the Venus side (me) and possessive on the Pluto side (him). It's weird because I rarely "feel" that aspect strongly with people, because I have it in my natal and with everyone born in my generation. But with this guy the Pluto elements are much stronger.

I don't really know what to make of the Sun/ Saturn square though.

Saturn square Sun.. some people can make it work. It's a tough kind of glue. But Saturn calls the shots and it's heavy karmic stuff involved. Sigh... I've felt like a child when I was the sun person.. every single time.. but Saturn was protective. I might even say overly protective. 🙂

The worst combo in one relationship would be Saturn square my Mercury/Moon/Sun. That was tough. Any time I got upset he shut me down. He wouldn't laugh at my jokes. My ideas were dumb or immature. I wanted his approval so bad and he was like a cold distant father.
Hmmm, interesting. We have all those aspects: Sun sq Saturn/ Saturn sq Mercury (both ways)/ Saturn sq Moon- I'm Saturn

He is very protective. It's a very different feel than Pluto contacts.

I always feel rebellious when people are possessive (pluto aspecting personal planets) and I want to push their buttons & boundaries. Sun/ Saturn has a more familial feeling, like the person cares about your well-being. It is overprotective! So I can see it being too much, especially if you have hard Saturn/ Sun aspects in your own chart, or a lot of Mars/ Sun energy.

I know what you mean about pluto con venus.. do you notice a difference in how you feel according to the orbs? Idk. I've been trying to see why some men drive me nuts and others I don't really feel that aspect.

I don't think the orb matters.

I normally only feel that energy when the other person is heavily Scorpio. I felt it with an ex that was Sun/Mars/Pluto in Scorpio with a few plants in his 8th house.

I think with current I feel it because my Venus & Pluto are in his 8th house, so that aspect is highlighted. I think we also have other aspects that mirror that energy.

Pluto/ Moon both ways (easy aspects)

Moon sq Mars (he is Mars)

Venus sq Sun (he is the Sun)
