What big things happened or happening in your life during this big astrological event?
Saturn Return. Any stories?
First one is 27 beginning though til 29/30. I believe Saturn stay a in each zodiac sight for 2.5 years. Second return is 58/59.
Posted by DastardlyTrue and I understand but his explanation is still valid nonetheless, and Saturn return is still considered a big thing in western astrology
I don't watch that guy's videos. He's a vedic astrologer.
Posted by EffervescentLovely, so their were benefits there towards the end, harsh lessons learned, thats Mr Saturn for ya
I have not experienced it yet.
Saturn on my ASC though...
Major breakdown and then breakthrough. Hardest, worst time in my life yet the most rewarding towards the end. Completely set my old life on fire and a new life was built. Everything changed. Old friends who were bad for me but I did not know it at the time we'e gone. Obsessive behaviors, addictions, I overcame. Old childhood trauma's and experiences popped back into my consciousness and I was forced to deal with them. Got into therapy. The "real" people in my life turned out to be my main family, and we grew closer.
Like I said, worst but toughest time in my short life thus far. At times I wanted to kill myself, just to be straight up. But I'm glad I didn't. Things did not get "cured" for me during the transit but it put me on the path I was meant to be on and a lot of shit that did not serve me in my life was either overcame or gone from my life.
Your words ring so true.
Saturn return for me, it went into my birth sign late Jan (it's actually retro right now)and expecting baby mid-June and doing masters degree come September when things get finalized. So yeah... many changes haha, all in a year.

It seems resistience is futile when it comes to Saturn.
Saturn goes back into Capricorn, my natal Saturn, in October I am so scared LOL it is in my fifth house of romance creativity and children. What a coincidence that I have been struggling with relationships my creativity as an actress and my son goes to kindergarten this Fall. ?
Posted by D0min0Posted by ladylibra21Seems like December for Capricorn this year. Oh God. Christmas time.

I feel like my life is already shaking up though I don't know that is because all of the planets that went into retrograde recently but since the first of the year I have just felt out of control with my life
Posted by nanobyteSaturn entered a new planet this January, it's currently retro right now, but if your thirty come 2019 then you should have entered your Saturn return this year. It ends around 30. Saturn In western astrology hit capricorn late January so yeah, you're pretty much beginning your Saturn return for now though it went back.
With saturn being 2.5 years in a sign, I think many of our saturn returns happen January 2019. I will be almost 30 years old. I am an old student taking it sloooooooow as hell to get my degree, and that is about the time in which I expect to have my degree, so I have been wondering about that.
I have saturn in capricorn in the 6th house conjunct my moon, uranus, and neptune. I wonder what it brings for my career/health.
Saturn is one of my ruling planets, so I don't sweat it. My entire fucking life is a saturn return 😆
What i will say guys is that I know that people don't like to know or hear about vedic astrology but technically Saturn went into Sagittarius in January this year. It's back in Scorpio until July I believe.
In fact, in say technically, it's literally fact, astronomers will tell you that Saturn went into Sagittarius this January and is currently in Scorpio. Even if you have the app which whwn you point your phone in the sky tells you where the planets are, it will say Saturn is in Scorpio.
But take those western and vedic into consideration because they're both important and relevant.

Posted by nanobyteYeah exactly, technically Saturn will be in capricorn in 2019, that's official, no doubt. You're like me, in western Saturn is in capricorn, but vedic saggitarius. So your real Saturn return isthis year which is saggitarius. If you calculated your vedic chart it will say your saturn is in saggitarisPosted by AAHmmm I looked up a bunch of calculators online, and it said that it can occur for people anywhere from the age range of 27-30. The calculators listed the "First Saturn Return" as January 2019, I guess for those of us with saturn in capricorn.Posted by nanobyteSaturn entered a new planet this January, it's currently retro right now, but if your thirty come 2019 then you should have entered your Saturn return this year. So big shit happening or will happen in coming years ny friend
It's usually the sign before in regards to vedic.
Remember the planets are always moving, ever so slightly, in western it's always fixed, and vedic is based on the actual planets whereabouts.
Look into Saturn in Sagitarius for true understanding. Promise it will click.

Side note, I remember younpr name from years back

I already visited that video before and had replied with more, but sums to that.
Already made almost a decade from that happening
It was a dry answer but I always take the positive about death people and move on, the "man up" was actually very good for me.
I am here since 2005 or so 😉 I also remember you 🙂

You're on your way to the 2nd return.,, sorry lol.
Can't even remember what the 2nd return consists of to be honest with you. I think it's themes to do with enjoying your successes, thinking of relaxing, retirement plans ect

Saturn returns can be a bit over rated. I am currently in my Saturn return. (Dec.2016-Sept.2017) I have Saturn in Sag in the 4th house. So I've been in my return for about 6 months, and nothing out of the ordinary has happened.
Saturn returns are for lazy people or people who are not doing what they are supposed to do. For example if you are 30 and live with your parents and play video games and refuse to work, Saturn could make your parents lose their home or become jobless, just so you can get up and find a job and move out.
So if you work, take care of your responsibilities, don't cause problems, or anything like that, I wouldn't worry about Saturn too much.
I live a pretty disciplined life, boring, but it keeps me out of trouble. I can honestly say nothing out of the norm has happened during this return. I know I have a couple months left, but Saturn is probably stumped. I really don't have anything for Saturn to destroy that hasn't already been destroyed. So as long as you're doing what you need to do, don't worry about Saturn.

Oh my word you're just begging for Saturn to sucker punch you.
In understand your point though, my understanding of it is nobody escapes it, it always has some effect, because let's face it, nobody's perfect. Yes, if you lead a good disciplined life and are achieving what your supposed to achieve then the effects will be far less, congratulations.
But you mention, boring, being out of trouble, Saturn isn't just supposed keep you out trouble or make you be boring or stable.
A lot of people are comfortable, stable and boring, a lot of people have good families and kids by 28. But what if your true destiny is to be an artist nor musician , what if your a successful stock broker living in New York but something just doesn't feel right? You're not fulfilled, all the while you have this amazing singing talent that hardly anybody knows about.
Just throwing shit out there man

Also Saturn Return is a slow moving planet, the effects are more of a slow burn, shit doesn't just happen out of thin air like a mars transit or something of that nature.
Saturn isn't 8 months as well, it's 2 and a half years

Posted by lexciThis is why they say you're not truly an adult until the saturn return. It's a reality check of the truest form.

Posted by AAWhen I look up my Saturn Return on the calculator it says Dec.2016-Sept.2017. I just don't think that Saturn affects everyone in a major way. I have it in a weird house. It's in the 4th house. I'm not sure what lessons or improvements I would need that surround the 4th house. But only time will tell. Like you said its a slow moving planet.
