People with BPD tend to misrepresent themselves and attract a lot of shit. Sometimes they are the shit but that's another story.

They usually have a hard time with social cues and don't understand why others see them in a certain way, and how their behaviour does not match their words/actions. I mean there definitely seems to be a lot of polarity to you

Or perhaps the behavior are symptoms of the unfortunate events she went through. Traumatic events can really rattle your brain and sometimes not even have a clue where to start.

What do you think BPD is?

If she is able to have control over other aspects in life, then it may not be BPD. An initial assessment won't suffice to even determine if she does have it because it lacks evidence on how she functions on a regular basis given different environments.

I would think that if she had BPD, behavior would be be distinct from the typical moods people go through. I think it's a normal reaction/feeling that OP has. Sudden changes in mood and pattern of thinking affecting daily function and relationships may be a hint but it's difficult to diagnose without much experience with BPD.

It's very unfortunate that it happened to you when you were supposed to be playing in the park, eating cotton candies and enjoying a normal life like regular kids. It's unfortunate you had a horrible father, a disgusting man.

But, please, I beg you, to not let the past to hold you back from the great future you have ahead of you. You are just 27, you have an entire life ahead of you. I would strongly suggest you invest in your personal development rather than any therapy, and be a motivation to others who are going through a similar situation such as you in their life.

Get a loan, get into college, get graduated, get into a job that pays you handsomely. Focus on your education/career, for now, to keep yourself from the negative energy and other distractions.

And Lastly, not sure if you believe in God, if you do - please start praying, and start reading Bible.

If you must know I did put my shit out there for everyone to see and that’s why I have beef with her. People with BPD tend to misrepresent themselves and attract a lot of shit. Sometimes they are the shit but that's another story.

They usually have a hard time with social cues and don't understand why others see them in a certain way, and how their behaviour does not match their words/actions. I mean there definitely seems to be a lot of polarity to you

Not to mention how volatile and nasty she gets towards people who don’t validate her. Whether it’s to be labelled a femme fatale or some sort of victim, or just when she wants to tell people how superior she is to others. Yet, then goes on to act like a victim again and so hard done by. It’s all borderline.

I haven't paid attention to her personally, just going by this thread alone. And I don't know what type of therapist she's been seeing, but even here in one of the world's greatest nations as far as health care goes, you have to fight to get to see an expert and get your diagnose straight when BPD is concerned. If you don't know anyone who has it, you are going to think it's just meshmash of various conditions but if you know someone, it's very real and you can almost set your watch to their behaviour.

Just sayin, OP. See an expert. This might the the missing piece. Not many with BPD have the insight to seek right counseling..
