Or Is it hidden only to the chart owner that should access these hidden traits/abilities?
Should we keep the 12th placements private as the 12th house = Hidden?

12 housers keep shit hidden anyway...unless it's sharing thier psychic gifts...
Posted by Blue_FroggieThanks for the answer!!!Posted by raad182It has to surface with good effort or they will surface on their own which will make us even more insecure.... A better understanding of the 12th house planets will help one to work out their difficulties....12th house and it's planets can help one to be realistic about where they tend to go wrong and how they muck up things.
Or Is it hidden only to the chart owner that should access these hidden traits/abilities?
I would say a transit can trigger the 12th house planets and bring things to light, to the outside world. So it is good to work on the matters of 12th house(consciously) and understand the planets in that house.

Depends on the person.
But another person can open them up if they have planets in their 12th house.

Don't know why the 12th house should be hidden? Do we walk around wearing masks like Michael Jackson did this to "protect" his children from the paparazzi? You CAN keep some things a "secret" that only you know about (and will take to your grave).
The Twelfth House is where consciousness dawns - the house of the rising Sun. This is the indeterminate state - the chaos before the new impulse - where all is yet unfulfilled potentialities. Traditionally this is the house of 'sacrifice', and is often connected with prisons, betrayal and self-undoing. Although we can choose to become trapped and frustrated by the many obstructions to attaining our dreams, we can also choose to reach outward and upward to a more fulfilled state, transcending the usual down-dragging conditions and rising above difficulties - thus establishing a life nearer our ideal. Here in the twelfth house we have the capacity to attain liberation by using our visionary scope and working creatively with
life's intangibles - the power of imagination!
12th HOUSE: This is the Serve-or-Suffer House. These people may have come from a past life monastery experience. In this life, they need to get outside of themselves and involve themselves with service to others or they can become quite neurotic! In coming from a past life situation of seclusion which formed a life pattern of isolation, they must break this pattern now! There is a need to get outside of one's self and work with others. It is easy, however, to escape within rather than go out into the world.
One woman with a stellium in Aquarius had her finest hour when she dedicated many years of her life to taking care of a disabled child. When not involved in service, she retreated to being a neurotic recluse! It must be noted that 12th House people can never be out all of the time. They need to retreat, to be alone and to be quiet. They cannot be ON 24 hours a day. They find it easy to disappear, to be invisible and tune out when around more aggressive or assertive types. I have observed 12th House students simply shut down when more assertive types speak up or interrupt.

Capricorn on the 12th House Cusp
Capricorn is the business head of the zodiac, for it is the very opposite of the emotional Cancer. Given to clear ambition and practical insight and vision, this sign always takes a distanced perspective and a cool appraisal. Deliberate and painstaking, sometimes to the point of austerity, Capricorn loves work and the hard-earned results. Status and material reward are very important.

Posted by LadyPootsAlotWhy do you think I am here six times a day while at work? I am here to help others. My Cappy 12th house is spot on! I do my work and don't have to work overtime to do so. Since I work for the Government I see ALLOT of abuse with monies. A woman that sits behind me (she's a Cappy 😱 talks for four hours with her staff/or others and then guess what?! Yep! You guessed it! She works five hours of overtime to make up for "chit chatting". Grrrrr 😡 We, as DoD civilians, have training to conduct (CBT; Computer Based Training). I took a five hour CBT yesterday, completed the modules, took my test, and printed my certificate of completion...all WITHOUT having to work overtime + I did my "regular" work yesterday.Posted by EvatheDivaWow, yep yep yep! Sometimes I get in a deep depressive funk, and the only way I can get out is to help other people. Symbiotic altruism. I get a feeling of peace from it. They get whatever help I'm offering.

I have kept my 12th house placement hidden....Chiron. I have in the past kept my psychic stuff to myself and it's only now I am starting to share with others.

If another has moon or mars for example in another's 12th house, the house person could face his or her 12th house issues whether or not they want to

I'll go with my placements:
1. Aqua merc in 12th - I can't creatively express myself because everything I do is self-censored and restricted.
2. Aries moon in 12th - I can't stand my inability to show emotion and my empathy is simply useless.
3. Pisces Venus in 12th - I can't have a fulfilling love life.

Posted by lostunderseaDo you feel loved by the universe?
Nothing wrong with keeping 12th house hidden. My Mercury and Venus are in 12th but it's not so hidden. Being that my rising is in Gemini, people see it and don't see it at the same time but I have no clue what's going on. So I become almost an illusion to the world and family, same goes with my Venus conjunct rising, you see what i don't see but can't see it either if that makes sense
Or do you feel like the universe just provide Venus related stuff when you ask for it?

Posted by raad182What's the good side then? Psychic gifts might include clairvoyance, precognition and psychic abilities, tarot interpretation, magic and witchcraft. Also healing using divine arts as opposed to traditional Western medicine.

If you aren't a spiritual person, you won't be so happy to have 12th placements.

12th house is hidden because its related to the spiritual forces (private, hidden, happening in a subtle way)
