Yo DXP folk, SirHorns here as your gaming host for this DXP Astro Game.

The game is simple enough, those playing will be given situations where you'll do to achieve some action/reaction to "win". (Could be simple as maintaining a conversation or as difficult as seducing someone, etc) You'll have 3 users acting as judges to see how well your responses actually have a chance at working. There will be 12 situations total that will be in the game. To win this game, you'll have to have more "passable" answers than your competition.

As for the prize of doing this whole game aside from standard DXP bragging rights? 😈
You'll just have to win and findout what it yourself now won't you?

Now our first thread had a massive blood bath so bad, we couldn't clean it up. It had to be banished to the 8th house/Scorpio board.
Let's see if I'll have to send them another thread. (Since it's not they need any more reasons to hate me.)

[Scoreboard]
#1: Starwars - 12
#2:GetMisted - 9
#3: ForeverloveMe/ RumiL//AriesLove/HappyCapper - 8
#4: ElleduMonde7
#5: GreenTea/SuperMercurial 4
#6: TaurusinTexas/No 3

Situation # 4 (Aries/ Heavy Martian energy)

Backstory: You're currently watching over a little 7 year old girl for a friend of yours. Lucky for you both, a fair is currently going on and everyone around seems to be enjoying it. Except the game vendors. The little Aries proved that she win, even with a crooked pigtail and missing tooth smile! She so far as absolutely dominated at every game she could play at so far. You see her set her sites on the a gaming stand that has for a prize a large stuffed plush toy ram. Hopping around and dashing toward the both to claim her next prize, you overhear people talk about how that booth is rigged. What do you do?

Objective: Prevent her from being heart broken as well as throwing a tantrum.

You have until 6/25/2016 11:59PM to respond.

Judges for this round are: @Damnata @Moonbutter @Champranger

All answers must be submitted with the judges tagged. They'll vote on which 3 each feels had the best answers. Once the answer period closes, the winners will be announced.

I spot a parkour rink for kids over there and ask little Gerda if these gaming stands haven't out done their purpose and wonder if she wouldn't want a real challenge instead, and point into the direction of the rink. Then I add, "Or maybe we should get some ice-cream first?"

The games are meant to be played. For every game, there's a winner and 'loser' (they gain experience). This little girl is doing nothing wrong as she's only playing at her full potential.
I would use this magnificent opportunity to tell her:
"You see how well you did getting this ram? Keep doing this throughout your life. Go after what you want with joy and excitement. If you look around, you might see some frowns and you might meet people who will tell you to stop chasing it. But it's not you who should diminish yourself, it's them who need to realize that they can go after so much more. So go be what you want.
The others will be triggered into reflecting their own lives and you may be a source of inspiration. "

(Note: In the description, it didn't say the girl was being rude or cussing anyone out. xD She's literally just having fun and enjoying the fair for what it is.)

The world called upon this Ariesness, who am I to diminish it? Faith is perfect if it got me to babysit this little girl, for I see nothing wrong with her. And she is actually contributing.

@Damnata @Moonbutter @Champranger

------If it heats up with a vendor--------
Also, if I sense some resentment in the public domain (even if it said it's just the game vendors), I'd be getting ready to defend if anyone tries to attack physically or verbally. I won't engage myself verbally for I wouldn't have to (at the fair), but I'd call security xD
And just to not ruin the little girl's fun if it happens in front of her, I'd say: "Some games just get more intense throughout life. Next level."

:Adding this note, so it'll say "Edited":

I wrote this while assuming people were saying it's 'rigged' because they don't like to lose or they don't like their kid losing games and they want to console the sad ones. I've seen people do that in the past.

Note #2: I assume that each vendor is
already getting paid, hence, the vending.

About the people and children who might observe while we play and this girl is crushing it
In competitive battling, one could more clearly see:
ӢWhich children are competitive
Ӣ Which ones don't care and prefer solo/ or other types of interactive activities
ӢAnd the ones that want to be competitive, but get discouraged too easily.

It helps the parents see where their child stands, get to know them better, and where to help them if they need any.
Aries helps them.

@Damnata @Moonbutter @Champranger

And...the fair? It's about encouraging that fire!
Oh hell no ain't nobody extinguishing the fire on that girl. We're getting that ram the RAM way.

Sticky note from me on it: "You only need your approval for your success! You did it!!"

I will firstly have her favourite candy or her stuff toy with me not that it will have any affect :p

I'll stop her and tell her that the game is rigged, but she should try and see it for herself.

And after multiple trials, if she starts getting upset I will tell her how she has already won each time in other games and that she shouldn't stop smiling because of one game. If she won't smile I'll attack her with tickles 😄

I'll then point to ice cream corner, tell her about all the variety of new flavours, she'll just forget about the stupid game and we both hop over to have ice cream! :p

So I just re-read that THAT booth specifically might be rigged so people lose.

..

I'd just straight up tell her 😐

"Hey I heard people saying that booth is rigged. As in they're cheating so it makes it more of a chance for them to win. You already know you're great at this so you can just play as hard as you can. "

Whether she wins or loses, I'd just buy her the ram. :p

And if the vendor won't sell it , I'll take a picture and find one from the same manufacturer.

If she loses, I'll look up tricks on how to win that type of booth even after we leave.

I'll ask the vendor if he/she has a facebook page for us to 'follow'. 🙂

Then I'll get tickets and fly to wherever else this booth might be next....that's right 😐 That vendor will see me again.

It's more fun to win a rigged game!!!

I get to the booth ahead of time and ask how much it cost to purchase the ram outright? After paying the fee, the game vendor let's little aries play just for kicks and what do you know? She's a winner!!!

-Game vendor is paid nicely
-Aries gets the ram
-Cap solved the problem
Everyone is happy 🙂
This was going to be my idea...I'm late to the party lol

As the little girl approaches the counter, I ask to speak directly to the vendor.

I make sure there is a crowd of people standing near so I have a good audience.

I state in a loud obnoxious voice:

"My daughter here wants to play this game but many patrons have been complaining this game is RIGGED and no prizes have been WON as of yet. You are out here breaking little kids heart and STEALING parents money for your own sick pleasure. So, I suggest you FIX whatever problem you have with this game. If she looses this easy a $ $ game you can count on CLOSING shop and counting your profits now. She is not going anywhere WITHOUT a prize and neither am I....

Comprendo!"

I pull out my video recorder.

"Now let's have some fun baby girl!!"

Due to DXP trying to kill itself and being down for 6+ hours, if judges sent me votes, I didn't receive them in my in-box.

Once I get the top 3 picks from @Damnata , @Moonbutter , and @Champranger I'll post the winners and the next challenge.
I can't pick because topic shows 29 replies, yet I see 21.

I have no one on block, so I'm waiting til the 8 phantom posts appear before I cast my vote.

everyone is trying too hard with the photos and stuff...it's quite the competition with me in the game. 😏
@starwars

My heartfelt response to the story, had nothing to do with other players.

Like, I genuinely put myself there, and thought about what I would do.

The pictures were also meaningful because they had to match what I was feeling.

Plus, it wouldn't feel like I played if I

held back when I felt the urge to post a picture.

And it wouldn't feel like I played either if I didn't want to post a picture,

and forced myself to.

So the context of 'try-hard' depends on what you're used to already 😄

Example: Someone else could read this and say it's "over-analyzing",

but to me,

it's easier than worrying about "not posting too much".

Situation #5 (Taurus/Heavy Venusian Energy)

Backstory: A well known as respected business investor is heading your way. Pretty much the media is having a field day with this woman, claiming whatever she invests in turns into a gold-standard of investment for everyone else. You see a line of eager people pitch their ideas to her and you can see she isn’t very impressed, just nodding slowly and giving faint smiles as she thanks them for their time and wait for the next person to catch her interest. You see her sitting at table, between two of her associates, all three wearing classic business suits. The tall and skinny man to her left wearing a grey suit, the short and stout man to her right wearing black. The business goddess at the center wears a light blue suit with a rose necklace around her neck. You see her look at the time and then look longing at the door to get out of the building.

Objective: Your town economy could REALLY use her influence to get a boost in growth. Your mission here is to find a way to keep her there as long as possible while proving she’ll get something out of it if she does.

Time Limit: You have until July 11, 2016 11:59PM EST to submit tagged answers to the judges.

I don't get it. Keeping her there isn't going to do anything for the economy, directly...so what is really the objective? Keeping her where? In town? By the table?
In the area so that more people have a chance to wow her before she writes off the town as having no promising prospects.

Alright! Thanks.🙂

Tell her its time for a break and bring over some cheesecake, for her and her associates, then ask her where she got her necklace. Once the conversation opens discussing her amazing style , she's also satiated with cheesecake yumminess, then ask for her guidance in what I should be wearing, how to achieve her style , after all light blue in a sea of black business suits these days - daring, anyway us Tauruses love movie magic makeovers - dream come true, here's her chance to pretty me up and elevate my style . Clearly this will involve visiting with the different vendors so that she can see what reasonable options there are in this town. Once she starts visiting with the vendors, on a mission, she's more open to what they are selling.

Appeal to her vanity, her expertise, her need to feel appreciated and needed after having fed her.

(I am neatly dressed in my beige colour suit and ponytail). I also already do all my homework on my town's economy, government schemes/plans/tax laws so as to use them in supplementing my efforts to impress :p

I approach them, greet them Good afternoon and a Good afternoon ma'am. "Ma'am, please give me a moment - I promise I will not waste your time".. then, I will ask her what is it that she looks for when making an investment.

And what are the red flags she looks for. In between, I ask her if she needs water, and refreshments(a pineapple cake :p ). Ask her in what sector she would like to make an investment in future.

Depending on the information I get from her, I will impress upon her about my town - how there is abundance of skillful human resource(plus relatively cheap labour here) because it is still a developing town and the employable population is high(show her statistics) - how an investment here would reap dividends for her company and benefit the entire town as well.

Tell her it's worth venturing in our town as it's not very risky here.

I will also talk positively about the prospects of the sector or field in our town. (the sector where she wants to invest as she responds to my question earlier about her next choice for investment) ..give her a balanced picture of that sector. And how there are resources in abundance, and may be even give her an idea of the supply chain in our town.

Keep mentioning in between how my town is developing one, and that its not risky to make a business venture here..

.......

That's all I guess 😕 .. Now for you, ...judges 😄

That suit. The cut. The shape. The silhouette. It was definitely a Mishaka Martin(Taurus). The poor Taurus woman looked bored, but poised and stylish and…just wonderful. She was a Taurus sun, moon and rising, after all(that’s right, judges, I’m kissing all your asses for points.) In fact, she looked just as wonderful as when I spotted her, happily tearing up at that Adele concert. A plan was forming. I quickly made some calls.

Ten minutes later I had sneaked her out of the building and into the tiny bistro with the super comfy sofas, serving the finest steaks in Tranquiltown. A glass of red wine later, and we were deep into conversation about the town and its future. She confessed to have had fleeting thoughts of moving here, which I encouraged by talking about the enormous potential of the place. She understood. She really got it(she, like all Taurus suns, moons and ASCs, are incredibly intelligent, as well as wonderful), but she needed to think about it. I said that I totally understood that. After all, both Adele and Mishaka Martin had to think about even coming here, but when they had had a look around, they just knew.

“Adele? Mishaka Martin?” the simply gorgeous Taurus woman replied.

“Oh yes,” I said. “Didn’t you know? Mishaka Martin is showing her new collection in the Fragrant Gardens tomorrow and Adele is performing the day after that in the concert hall. I would be happy to invite you to both events. And I’m sure Superdupercomfortableluxury Hotel will be absolutely thrilled to take you in.”

The Taurus woman thought to her fabulous self that she could definitely live with that. Two days later, she is absolutely overwhelmed with the potential, warmth and hospitality shown to her and she decides to move to Tranquiltown, forever supporting the town and its inhabitants, and living happily ever after.

The cake is not a lie!
