Sun and moon in same element, or sun and moon in different elements?

Do your Sun sign and your Moon sign share the same element? How does this make you feel? What are the pluses? The challenges? Are you happy with it?

Obviously my Sun and Moon are in different elements. My Aries Moon is like an overactive inquisitive child, always into something and trying to be the boss, often speaking before thinking. My Taurus is Sun is like a mother to a fractious moonchild, gently guiding it along and trying to keep it safe. My Sun lets my Moon know that "thinking" is actually an activity and can be used to one's advantage. My moon gets my Sun fired up. Lazy Taurus? Huh? That's not me. Relaxation is a reward for accomplishing a goal.

Yes, I am happy with my Moon and Sun signs and have learned a balance between the two which makes me an atypical Taurean perhaps, but one who's busy, enjoying fun, and exploring everything this world has to offer.

I have the same issue. Sun in air in the 3rd house, moon in water in the 12th house

my sun moon and mars are all in water! sun cancer moon scorpio and pisces mars ...I believe that it is an advantage personally ....I feel like that I get all three of the best and worst qualities of all the water signs ....

My sun is in water and my moon is in air so it makes my wants and impulses extremely contradicting but it has its advantages. I am able to think out my emotions almost like from a third persons perspective before acting on them, this also might be because my mars is in an earth sign so I am more cautious about my actions. And I am also able to put myself in someone elses shoes and be empathetic to almost any situation. The only huge draw back is relationships because who I am/want and what I need are two completely different things.

Pluses are flexibility, communication, objectivity and a lively quality from my moon that help to lighten me up.

Challenge mainly is sometimes experiencing either too much restlessness or stagnation. But who knows if my sun/moon really explains that. When I have too much caffeine, like I did this afternoon, I'm in both states at the same time.

it def has pros and con's i'm always always positive and get the best results because i chose the hardest way to do things because i believe that brings the biggest growth in life, this is so true, canc sun sag moon.

I feel the biggest challenge, when your luminaries are trined, is accepting that your thoughts do not equal your identity.

I tripped up myself into that trap all the time. I used to believe just because I'd had a day full of downer thoughts, that was a reflection upon who I was and where I was headed in life. It's not. Anyone can find triggers to clear their mind of thought at any time, and see they haven't disappeared along with them.

On the positive side, I come off as very calm to others. Especially calm under fire.

You do appear to be very even tempered all of the time. When others are engaging in a forum slugfest, yours is the voice of reason. Always. I admire that ability.

Both sun and moon in water and I kind of detest it. Its a bit much IMO.
