now I'm tipsy, I think the room is spinning after reading @nstantkarma but it does make some sense ...
so is what you are saying is that what we know as our astrology is only ours - that it was based from our position within the galaxy and does not work if you live on another planet

What role does the Earth play in astrology? We learn the positions of planets, sun, moon, asteroids and how they effect a natal chart or horoscope, but nothing is ever said about the Earth itself? It's not the center of the universe or even the solar system, but it is important because it's our home. Does the Earth ever go retrograde? It must because all the other planets do. How does this impact us.
I'm especially curious about this because I'm an Earth sign.
