Do you find that it takes you a long time to get in a relationship?

Do you find that it takes you an equally long time to leave a relationship?

Is it because as an earth sign, we like to dig and get grounded in someone and digging oursevles out of the dirt take awhile?

My relationship was long but not the strongest. I can be a stayer also. I stayed even though it got pretty bad, hoping things would be better. I hid my unhappiness for a long time. Nobody knew how bad it was until it was over. Just saying

I think it's misguided loyalty that plagues us, especially in our younger years. We take a long time to warm up to people and we can really get our hearts set on someone or something. And then, we're fixers too. We value loyalty and sometimes people don't deserve our loyalty but we give it to them anyway. Loyal to a fault or even stupidity.

familiarity is important to me as well. Id rather deal with someone who ive dealt with for years than have to feel someone new out.

maybe this is my moon talking 2.

i just dont want to leave a "known" situation for a brand new one. its not worth it for me to start over.

If i were to start over, that new person, new job, new whatever has to be bigger and better in every possible way.

Personally I count myself lucky in love but my high standards and reluctance to trust and let my guard down make it difficult for people to love me. Most men give up rather quickly, and even if they stick around it irritates and puzzles them, making it difficult for them to relate to me.

I very much relate to this and I also feel that it relates to the mentality of frugality, fixing things rather than throwing them away for new.

SHIT. you should see how old my phone and tv are. i just dont see the value in starting over.

with men, its no different. once im settled, im settled DEEP. the thought of moving on doesnt even cross my mind.

i guess this loyalty is what attracts.

even if the situation is bad, i will stay. i need a dead on, strict, no way around it ultimatum to leave.

It's not even that it takes me a long time to trust someone, trust (I just typed thrust LOL) just matters to me so much...and loyalty. When those two things are in question: it's already steps to over.

I can get into a relationship pretty quickly, but I can also stay reserved for a VERY long time.

Leaving one? I can't just cold turkey it...I have to do my whole phase out thing.

cold turkey doesnt work for me either. it doesnt feel like i tried every possible avenue to give the other person time to change.

if im just starting out on the first rung, then i can leave no problem. but if im already in years deep, i cant move.

i also stay reserved for it seems like forever, i definitely need a partner who will stick it out. or constantly be under the influence.

I sure take me a while to get out of it. I'm like hey, if it aint broke don't fix it.

Yeah. i feel 50/50 about this.

I definitely compartmentalize my life in every way. as a sag i cast a wide net of friends. but those groups of friends will NEVER meet each other. your in my life for a specific reason.

even with my family, i wont do certain things around them. because they have a certain idea of who i am. i like the reputation i have with them and dont want it to change.

people think im being a dick when i dont want them to come here or there with me, but im really not. id rather just do certain things with certain people.

as far as the sex and self worth thing goes. i am forever questioning why a guy is talking to me. I myself know im the bees knees but im not always convinced of my partners feelings. only months, years or consistency will prove me wrong.

sex is an interesting animal for me. men in general. i did a blog awhile ago and i said that if i get hit on, it makes my day. if i dont, im devastated.

in fact, i will go out and get a sure thing to validate me.

I feel so NOT ALONE right now I could sing. @Feby16Aqua spot on with the Phase out plan! Must be that Mars in Aqua scientifically breaking down how to move on. Me personally, I setup test that I know a person will fail in order to give me the ammunition to leave. Especially when things are amicable. I am loyal to a fault and I need to feel complete disdain before I can honestly look at the phone and say f@ck off.

nope nothing like that. im just thinking why i havent allowed myself to even be open to dating or even meeting new people.

#nonewfriends kind of moment.

i like what i got. i like my friends, i like my lover, i like my job.

ive been approached by a few guys but i just dont want to share my time with some new people when the old ones work just fine.

Now if im thrust-ed into a situation where i meet new people. if im really feeling what they bring to the table, i will fit them in big time. but they just have to be BETTER.

NOPE, not anymore. Venus in Capricorn helps me leave the relationship easily. If I'm not happy, i will leave. I've been through so much crap with people, im getting tired of the bs. no more begging, no more crying, etc. idc anymore. if im done, im done. especially if you are not treating me right.

I feel like Venus in Capricorn wants to find real love, but since we have a lot of standards, its going to be really hard to find the right guy for us. Well for me at least.

No. Judge granted me a restraining order. My boss gave me an ultimatum; it was the boyfriend and the job. I chose the job and applied for a restraining order.
