What's your Sun/Moon and Rising Sign?

ok, im looking at CM and SF pics with the rising signs and I tell you, you girls do look more like your rising than your sun, beautiful as you may be.

i would love to be that down to earth. i go crazy as hyper as i am and i have to take nerv pills. poeple think im ADHD or sumthin

It must be fun being that high strung. Being an earth sign myself, I am glad that I have Sag moon in my chart. It keeps me optimistic.

QUESTION:

So does anyone know the importance of your rising and moon signs? I read somewhere that the Sun sign is the mask that we should the world, while the Rising sign is our authentic self and the Moon sign is how we express our emotions??

Does anyone know?

I found this on a website

The Rising Sign is sometimes called the "Ascending Sign". It indicates how you appear to others on "first impression", and it is also how you want to appear. It is not who you "are" - it is how you "act". It is your "image" and style and mannerisms. Unless your Rising Sign and Sun Sign are the same (true for only 1 of every 12 people) then what they see is NOT what you are inside. Traits of your Rising Sign show on the outside much more than traits of your Sun Sign.

Most people with some familiarity in astrology know their sun sign. Your sun sign is the sign you look up when you read your daily horoscope in the local paper. Many people are unaware of the fact that they also have a moon sign. You may sometimes find two people with the same sun sign that seem like nearly opposite people. The cause for this, according to astrologers, can often be found in the moon sign.

The moon sign tells you about your very inner self and instincts. Well-known astrologer Evageline Adams said the Moon sign represents your personality as opposed to the sun sign which represents your individuality. The moon sign may be best understood as representing your unconscious, and your sun sign represents your conscious.

Since the moon sign represents your unconscious, it is not surprising that your moon personality may be more apparent to you in your dreams than in your waking life. You will also find the influence of your moon sign in moments of pure emotion and in love relationships. Your moon sign does not override your sun sign, it modifies it.

The moon moves through the sky quickly through the zodiac every 29 days. For this reason, you will need to refer to a moon table with your birth month, day, and year in order to obtain your moon sign. Moon tables can be found in most astrology texts.
