What's my Moon Sign?

I was born on September 23rd, 1997, in Porto, Portugal. However, my parents are not really sure about my timing... The thing is, my Moon sign is in a cusp: if I was born at 1:30 pm, my Moon sign is Gemini, however, if I was born at 1:45 pm, then my Moon is in Cancer. When I realised this, I started thinking that maybe I should rely on the memories of my past, of when I was a kid, and try to remember and come up with some clues or ”crisis moments” that could help me have a clearer idea of which my Moon sign may be.

What do you guys think of this? Do you think I should do something else instead?

I ended up reflecting about those "crisis moments", so just in case you are wondering...

When I was a kid I was obsessed or paranoid with the idea of a good and healthy family life. Since I can remember, my parents would argue, as any other normal married couple would but, sometimes, the fights were pretty nerve racking and intense. An arguement between my parents was something that, at that age of mine, easily would made me cry and nervous. I was scared they would get divorced. By the way, just in case you are wondering, my mom has Leo in Mars, and my dad has Aries in Mars. As a kid, just thinking about the idea of knowing that my parents didn’t love each other anymore, would leave me heartbroken. When my parents were mad at each other at that time, I was always truly worried about their relationship: I would constantly ask my mother if she was happy and if she still loved my father.

I also had a very close friend whose parents were already divorced. One day, on the playground, I decided to ask her if she was happy (literally, just that) and she answered me ”yes”. I asked her only that, I didn’t tell her that I was asking that due to her parents divorce. Her answer was like a reassurance that I could still be happy even if my parents got divorced.

During Summer holidays, there were this two siblings with who I became friends. One night, I was at their place, and we were playing some game with their parents. At that moment I felt the urge to ask one of the siblings if it was common to his parents to argue with each other, but he didn’t hear me. Instead, it was his father who heard me. Their father answered me with a ”no”. It was extremely embarassing, but after knowing his answer, I got worried.

There was also one day, when I was alone in my bedroom, in my grandparents house. I was seeing one photo of my grandmother and, by just looking at it, I remember I just started crying a lot. I guess it was because, when I was looking at it, I was imagining how would it be if my grandmother died and that made me miss her at that moment, even though she was fine and alive at that time.

In my early teenage years, I loved to stay at home rather than go out (now I like going out much more, but I still like staying home). One of my neighbors even claimed, at the time, that I seemed a very homely person.

I don’t know if what I’ve said until now is helpful or meaningful, but these are some of my childhood moments, I’ve been reflecting about that I relate a bit with Cancer.

On the other hand, I think I also have past memories I can relate with the Gemini too. At the same stage of my life, when I was at the elementary school, I was really envy of my best friend. She was really smart and intelligent, so she did really great at school. Other people, such as classmates and teachers, seemed to like her a lot: they were always praising her, giving her great attention and positive feedback. I was the total opposite! I was really lazy to study and aloof during classes. Some teachers would scream at me in front of the class, for not knowing the answers. It was pretty humiliating. I came to the conclusion that I should become a copy of her. I started copying her personality: the way she walked, ran, reacted and spoke, so everybody would like me the same way. I wanted to be smart and intelligent as her.

I’m sorry for this huge text and ranting, but in which sign do you think my Moon is? Thank you so much for reading!

I am relying on the memories of my past because at that time, when I was just a kid, it was my pure and natural personality... Now that I'm into astrology, I look at gemini moon and cancer moon traits and I think I can relate to both :s

If its in Cancer like ands said youd be really into childhood or "emotional" memories.

ALSO that "envy" part makes me thing Cancer but Gemini moons have feelings too, but mostly anger lol not much resentment

Although I have Sun in Libra and Moon in Gemini or Cancer, my two dominant signs are Aquarius and Scorpio. I relate a lot to Scorpio, I'm like a sponge, I remeber every detail of some past memories, and also bad and good things that some people did to me, for example. I am really envy, jealous, obsessive and resentful.

You sound like cancer to me emotionally. Mimicry is a gemini trait though, but that is not necessarily emotions, so I say cancer.

This is so me.

You sound like a Cancer to me.

But by the times given you're on the cusp anyway, so both signs will play out.

I was wondering this for a lot of time: if it's possible to have a bit of the two signs, as it happens with Sun signs, since my Moon sign is also in the cusp...

yeah I looked up your chart. Those Scorpio placements really make it hard to tell whether you moon is Air or Water.



theres no real way of knowing without birth time. Do your parents at least know an approximate time?

My mother is tells me that I was born at 1:45pm (moon in Cancer), but my father told me once that I was born at 1:30pm (moon in Gemini) instead 😆 I know and feel that my two dominant elements are air and water. I overthink too much and I also feel with a lot of intensity, that's why I'm so confused...

Yeah, she also seems to be the one that is more sure about it... My dad thends to confuse stuff sometimes. And yes, that mercury in Virgo is probably why I overthink too much, I read that on tumblr 😆 But as my sun sign is libra, and they are naturally indecisive... :/

I still feel divided though: because I'm definitely moody and irritable, think a lot and I also use to copy people's ways of talking, for example... (gemini traits); on the other hand, I have the memory of a sponge, I live too much in the past, while others have moved on from a hurt, I tend to keep dwelling on it (specially if I feel guilty about it or if the person meant a lot to me), and my humour tends to be a loony/idiot type of humour, not that much of a witty type one (cancer traits), I don't even read frequently (I read too too little :s And I know feel curious to know a bit of everything, except the things that really interest me).
