I'm asking because ii've noticed that most people who put up topics requestiong them don't get that many replies :p Are there any forums/websites that would be better for this sort of thing?

Every once in a while a member will answer and give advice out of the kindness of their black little hearts. It really depends on the mood of the site in general I think.

If you're serious about learning something though one of the best things you can do is just start Googling each placement and aspect one by one, reading about them until you get an idea on how they work. Eventually you'll be able to piece together a good bit of the important stuff on your own.
