Earth and Air Signs...

...what got you into astrology? How did it keep you?
Normally you all write it off as crap so what about it proved otherwise?

*Totally isn't dealing with those types* (spoiler: I am and would stare into their soul via their natal charts if my Leeb Juptier didn't say that's not nice or fair...)

My dad got me into Astrology. He even planned my birth in order to be a Virgo like him.

My mom did. She once was on this site many many years ago.

Many years ago I was in Hot Topic and there was a book on astrology. I bought it and have been interested in it ever since. However, I've only recently learned about the other planets.

Mum used to listen to the 5th Dimension's Age of Aquarius song a lot and I loved it and she told me that I was an aquarian too, then when I was 8 I found her Wellbeing magazine in her wardrobe and I read it back to back and I wore it out till she finally let me have it ever since then I was really attached to astrology, I started to learn celebrities at first then my friends signs even though I wasn't too sure what it meant I felt that it meant something.
When I reached my teens I didn't have much to do with astrology although I was still learning about celebrities and what celebs when with who in the gossip magazines and I was really into Tarot. It wasn't until I was in my depression stage that I truly had my astrological epiphany and understood the true power and potential of astrology as I came to understand myself a whole lot better through it.
Its stuck with me throughout the years because its hat keeps me interested in the world, its the punctuation in life that doesn't make it seem relentless. Its a gateway to magic, mysticism and the unknown and thats why I love the shit.

I've always kinda been into astrology but maybe 6 months ago I decided to delve deeper and discovered it's not just a horoscope i never believed in horoscopes cause they never related to me . Since I am a Gemini i find myself looking back at my life and realizing my duality . Most of my friends where primarily women, i listen to primarily female singers, i used to want to be a women but realized i enjoyed having a dick . My brother is June 1st and my mother is Libra-Scorpio

yes plus my moon is in virgo i cant watch scary movies they really get my nervous energy going lol

Damn too much Mercurial energy man haha. My Mars is in Virgo and I have my 10th house Mercury in 2nd decan Aquarius, which is a Gemini decan so I understand.

We had someone for a while who would always look up daily horoscopes back at work. She was a virgo and the long and short of it. I wanted to figure her out and prove astrology is a load of crap and rub it in her face.

Charts I don't do yet. I only do it informally to build up a database.

I prefer promoting other people for a cut, on my site. Other than that I get about an email a day from women around the world about Libra men and it gives me a change to promote dating guides/book ads from dating sites.

As for the women and Libra men, you could make a career just from that.

I got into it when was 15, I am fascinated with numbers and when found out I could build a chart old school style on paper, with the tables and books; I was hooked. I love learning things about others, and astrology is a semi doorway to doing so. 🙂

I don't even know. I don't remember ever not being interested in it, but I can't tell when I started getting really into it. And yeah, as much as astrology proves to be accurate on days, I take everything with a grain of salt for obvious reasons.

My 8th house sun..which finally wants to get to the roots and undergrounds of everything 🙂
