Why are there so many guys on this board that are REALLY into astrology but I have yet to meet on guy in real life who knows what an Aries is? Weird...

I'll bet you on sites where people are into horses that they are really into horses, while people in your real life probably aren't so much, as compared to the site where people are into horses.

Hey, I just thought of something .... I'm not really into History, and in real life, a person probably wouldn't find me engaged in this topic ... but, I was wondering .... do you think forums that are built around history would have tons of people interested in this subject?

I mean as compared to people in RL, I mean.

I thought about this before with Bingo ... I was sitting during intermission, looking around and wondering how many people there were REALLY into Bingo .... and then I thought, you know, I have friends outside of the Bingo hall who aren't into Bingo .. and how weird that was.

So what you ladies are saying is you would be impressed to find a guy in RL to conversate with about astrology? I never bring up that topic at all unless someone just asks me out of the blue,

Them: When is your birthday or what is your sign?
Me: I'm crab rangoon!

LOL.

But seriously when I actually start to speak about it; they're mostly at ah because of what I say or how much I know. People especially the guys find it weird for another fellow like myself to know a little sum sum on astro. So I normally don't bring it up but when they do and ask me all that jive, I just tell them what I know and leave it at that. Unless they tend to ask for more that is haha.

My practical, intelligent Libra thinks astrology is all a bunch of baloney.
But that's fine - gives me an edge he doesn't have. *wink*
All the times he's looked at me and said, "What?! How did you know..."
... or, "You always seem to say/do the right thing..."
... maybe someday he'll figure out astrology is not complete bunk.
And if not - I'll still maintain my edge, and baffle him sometimes with my insights into others.
So I win, either way 😉

I'm sure I sound nutty when I ask someone for their bday as soon as we meet, but in the end that person ends up getting interested in astrology.

But yeah Xtina you are right, not too many guys know scorpio from aries, etc.

most of the guys i know that are into it are gay. maybe there's a stigma attached to being a male that believes in astrology. maybe it's a de-masculating belief? *shrugs* i do know one guy (he is a virgo and straight!) that is outright with it and doesn't care. he's a total hippie actually.

my BF knows i like all this stuff. the other month i emailed him an article about retrograde mercury because he had just started a new job when it went retrograde. he came over that night and was like "OMG all that stuff is so true!" but he's a gem and they like knowing something about everything 😉 I keep him posted on the big events and he appears interested, but i doubt he's searches the internet trying to find his rising sign (though i could tell him if he cares to know hehe)

Its Wierd - Many people dismiss Astrology yet ive never met anyone who doesnt know what their starsign is, or , the general traits of their own sign !!

Alot of people think of aries as players & out for a good time
and doesn't want a true relationship.This is wrong for the
most part,but many people still believe it!

I don't know why people don't worry more about Pisces men?
I haven't met one thats loyal to his lady,but I personally
haven't dated one.I need someone whose more mentally sure
of what he wants.
