I am a cancer. In going through the motions of getting to know someone I find it really hard to be open, or more myself. It just takes a while for me to get comfortable with a person if I even do. In a world that is becoming more and more extroverted, I think that my shyness, cautiousness, or what ever you want to call it work more against me than for me. Just a thought. Any advice or opinions?

Yes, the world is more extroverted...but, due to that there seems to be more shallow interactions...

I think that those who can see beyond your shyness, can see that there is depth there...and, will take the time to get to know you and wait for your shyness to dissipate..

Yes, Yes Yes!!! I am cancer male, always shy and introverted until I found it safe to "come out and play". My breakup with my boyfriend devastated me - and my trust level in people went down the drain. However! Now I throw myself out there, and have no problem going up to someone and initiating a conversation with them. I think that you just get stronger - and figure, what the hell. Cancers are really great people - so much depth - WOW! I wouldn't trade the amount of depth I have as a person - for anything, Ever!ount of my My philiosphy is depth is much greater than is
