the virus i got from limewire disabled my task manager (ctrl + alt + delete), disabled my antivirus software, and prevented the computer from downloading more.

what i don't understand is why these people who start them want to ruin peoples' lives. because that's what it basically did to me (ok, maybe not ruin, but it was a definite thorn in my paw, and if i didn't take care of it, i would have inevitably had no laptop which cost me a pretty penny that i could not come up with again).
