Aquarius and Cancer and final steps towards spiritual evolution

I always wondered why in astrology why the Water Bearer was not compatible with Cancer but I have realized that Aquarius is in fact an evolved Cancer. The crabs journey itself is to be the water bearer. An air sign that is control of water.
I am beginning to believe a Cancer's main goal is to experience every emotion so that is can realize in a genuine way how to look at things logically. Cancer's are torn because they are on a journey where they have to look at every through an emotional aura so that one day they can be logical but they do not know this is their purpose until they see it for themselves. Its a journey we take alone but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
There was once a picture I looked at everyday and said " Wow my grandmother really loved me, holding me next to a tomato plant, that day was perfect and that is a picture I can never let go of". Now I say "She was just being like a normal grandmother should be. That day probably wasn't perfect. If I looked at that day as an adult it would have been nothing impressive.
Since all Cancers have different moons/venus/mercury/rising the experience will be different, but overcoming these emotions is freeing once you realize how to stand on your two legs.

I had a cancer best friend a long time ago. He's the one who got me involved in astrology. The guy after speaking to me asked me if I was an Aquarius. I don't know what it was about me that gave away that I'm an Aquarian. Ironically, this girl he liked for a long time was Aqua as well and he said I behaved like her. Anyway, this cancer friend of mine once said to me that he wishes to be like an Aquarian. He was very fascinated with Aquas and wanted to be like Aquas. Moreover, he only liked or dated Aqua women. He said he's sick and tired of feeling all the time, getting hurt over the littlest thing and easily. He said it was hard being a cancer because it's like fluctuating hormones except it's moods. He didn't know why he was happy one min and sad the next. I could tell her was tired of his feeling which he had in abundance. I had to stop being his friend because he ended up being madly infatuated with me but every year, he'll find me on Facebook and msg me.
Last year when he messaged me to say hi and check up on me, he said, "oh you'd be happy to know that I've evolved into an aqua". I'm like "pftt whatever. You're just trying hard to not feel. It's instinctive to feel or to feel that much and that strongly for a cancer so why quit or try to quit something that you can't." He said, "No, when a cancer matures, we stop being as sensitive and emotional as we are in our youth. We no longer get offended easily and our insecurities about ourselves also reduce..." In essence he was saying what you're saying: that he evolved into an aqua (found detachment from his emotions and feelings).

Posted by straightupstraightstraightYeah, no. Aqua wanting to be cancer, said no Aquarian ever. I can't even deal some emotions I feel let alone wanting to feel strongly or even feel often. As for being able to connect with people emotionally, we have that gift. That's our appeal. We can connect but doesn't mean we are bonding which a cancer does though.
A friend of mine couple of years back, a good Aquarius girl who liked me a lot we had just met online was following me around because she knew my IP address, always trying to play games to get me to notice her and when I played my own game and won, used to pretend to be someone else in the hope that it would fool me into thinking it was someone else and get me back for ignoring her and not giving her the attention she craved. I used to always spot her a mile away when she was anywhere near my vicinity and it used to shock her, no matter how well disguised and indistinguishable she seemed to be from her surroundings I always lined her out and even pretended to be that person she hoped I would be thinking I didn't know who she was, and it always backfired and at one point she was so freaked out that she thought I was a ghost, of course I had settle many other times and had erased her completely from my mind due to her inability to ground herself back into the human world of feelings, sensation, passion, practicality, love and clarity, at any rate she was hospitalized later due to psychosis
That's what I love there about Aquarians, they always seem to drift off on an instrumental melody created by their mind until they're nowhere to be seen or experienced even by themselves, as though a breeze a wind had swept them off existence and anything human
My abilities are clear however:
Psychic clairvoyance
Spiritual connectedness
Ability to feel and perceive what others are thinking and doing even if I'm not near them
Ability to tear through material objects straight into the spirit world
Ability to see through people's intentions and thoughts
Given these abilities which are inaccessible to an Aquarian and the clear and obvious advantage of being able to connect with the feelings and emotions of others more readily and immediately than an Aquarian, in what universe is "he found detachment from his emotions or feelings" indicative of "spiritual evolution" or an "evolution into an Aqua" or "maturing" or any of that clap trap you hear in this thread? must be the non-existent one
don't get me wrong I love Aquas but to me they are just unevolved spiritual retards, sort of a wannabe Cancerian; the clear difference between the two is that the Aquarius is a wannabe water sign, and the Cancerian IS a water sign
Straightup, Aquas connect with people emotionally, we just don't show it openly in many instances. Besides, we're able to read people rather well. As a matter of fact, we see can spot fakeness a mile away.

Wtf is this we evolve into Aquas bs? Lmao - no were simply Cancers & like every oter adult we learn to grow the f up and look at things from an objective perspective rather than a subjective one. I do in fact admire some of the Aquarian traits , but I aint trying to be one because Im happy w being a Cancer & being able to heal people & sympathise w them in a way they themselves crave. Besides , Im a quick learner and Ive already learned how to deal w emotions (which we feel deeper than the other signs and its also a blessing once you learn to be objective).

I think it's very true to a certain degree. It's a journey that we take towards gaining emotional intelligence. We retain a lot through the emotional connection we have with different experiences. Even when we as Cancers listen to a person talk, it's almost as if we're not focused on the words that the person is using, but we're connecting to the emotions behind those words. So we can better learn our response to that person. It's how we empathize and show compassion. Emotions have a different meaning within each element, for example, for Air signs it may be light and sporadic; for Fire it can be quick and consistent; Earth, it seems steady and solid; Water, deep and passionate. So interacting and gaining knowledge with these different elements can really bring clarity to LIFE. I don't know if I would call it logical though...more like Wisdom.
Some people would call it crazy, only because they lack emotional intelligence and can't understand it (mainly Air and Fire signs). But we can all learn so much from each other....

Why do people perceive disagreement as wanting a kitty fight? You might wanna explain that to me.
If you read her entire post, she's talking about being lost/indecisive and that is not true at all. I'm an aqua stellium (all things aqua) so if there's one thing aqua energy gives me is that I'm very decisive. I do, however, have an aqua sun and libra moon cousin and he's indecisive. Gotta look at the whole chart.

Yeh.. true. Mine is in cap but I'm often times unorganized lol blame my sag mars hahaha super spontaneous. My man is cap sun libra moon and he is organized and on time as hell. Hmmmm
Although its flattering to hear. Aquarians are def NOT evolved cancers.
I can agree a little to this. I also feel earth water fore we all meed eachother to evolve. Aquarius you have a few tbings to work on too like maybe learning the emotional aspect of cancer the symbol is the water bearer pouring of emotions...that is something Aquarius need to actually learn from us water cancers. I always felt that each sign helps me grow. Pay attention to all the signs symbols thats ehat they actually need to do to work on themselves. Now I say "She was just being like a normal grandmother should be. That day probably wasn't perfect. If I looked at that day as an adult it would have been nothing impressive.

I think it is the other way around...Aquas are devolved Cancers! 😉
One has to be superior to feel everything we do without breaking. It is a gift. To not feel is a toddlers emotion. We get logic, but we also understand that emotions are a very real part of human character. And we can manipulate the world through emotion even the dettached air signs can be had by emotions.
