Cancer Appreciation or Unrewarding Frustration

Just wondering if Cancers are super selfish. I do nice stuff for my guy 24/7 and he does nice stuff for me too; but overall, I'm dedicated 1000% to him and I just don't feel that level of commitment or appreciation back. It's as if all my actions and effort are expected and when I ask for anything back, I'm being demanding or unreasonable. It's crazy butter!!! Feedback?!?

You and I are both Geminis right? I have the same experience with my father. After my mom died I took over from her role as his PA 😄 I had to do a lot of practical stuff for him, give him some financial support too. And sometimes he would whine if I asked him to do me a favour. BUT although he didn't thank me every time I did something for him, I knew he appreciated me because other times he would tell me how he couldn't live without me and also he would put food on the table and make things he knew I liked and generally took over in my life from my mom as best he could and that is how you show someone you love them. It's little things like that.
As for cancer boyf it's going kind of the same way, although he suprised me after 2 weeks of dating (more or less) by buying me the most beautiful Christmas present. Not something expensive but really thoughtful.
Ever considered that it's us Geminis who have to learn to appreciate that people show commitment and appreciation in different ways? :-)

Well, I wouldn't say SUPER selfish, just ordinary really...maybe one day I will achieve such honorable status.

well im cancer and from my exeperience i can say,if cancer is selfish,he prob doesnt love you?because when we love,we sacrifice ourselves for the people we love,either its children,our woman or even our closest friends........only selfish thing we can do is ask for you to understand us and be alone somtimes,because we need to recharge our energy or just be alone,to calm down and breathe. 🙂 cancers are all dif,but i think for ppl they love they always sacrifice themselves..🙂 or maybe he's in depression or something,thats why he doesnt cope so good,talk with him,ask whats wrong,make sure he knows you want to know everything about him,hi's feels and shit,because he might just hope that you would understand him without words,thats me sometimes,but water signs seem to know why i'm so they understand,other signs like earth fire and air just needs to ask,we might not want to talk tho,complicated we are sometimes 😄

Not so much keeping tabs as much as it is how I feel... Like right now there is an event I want to attend but if it doesn't interest the Cancer then he's not going, regardless of what I might want. I guess I just see less of myself in our relationship because from my perspective it's all about him. And don't get me wrong, on 6 of 7 days I like it that way, I like to nurture. I'm moon and Venus in cancer... But it's just that every once in a blue moon (no pun intended) I'd like it to be about me.
