so what if the Cancer has Gemini in venus?
How do they show interest in the person they like?

I'm a Virgo by the way

My bf has Venus in Gemini. His behaviour when we first met was similar to what aurora described, so it might not be all that different between men and women.

He initially showed interest by asking a lot of questions about me and showing interest everything I was telling him (or at least pretending really well 🙂). He was very open with me in terms of sharing stuff about himself. He maintained eye contact with me. He complimented me. He kept trying to casually and nonchalantly find excuses to touch my hand or arm. He texted/called a lot. He made it blatantly obvious that he liked me. He only actually asked me out though after I pretty much flat out told him that I'd say "yes" if he did.

On our second date he told me that he's a relationship type of guy - not a casual sex type. He did admit though that 15-20 years ago he did go through a brief - and unsatisfying - promiscuous stage.

I'm a female so it is probably different, but maybe it would be helpful. 🙂 So, when I like someone, I'll find a way to be close to you. And when I finally manage to talk with that special someone, I will ask lots of questions, I will talk in way to be easy for you to get to know me, try to make you laugh, tease you a little bit, complement you... So it is pretty much obvious. But I would be a little bit shy during the whole process. Well I will feel that way, because people often can't see it.

And about promiscuous part 😛. When I'm with someone I'm loyal. But when I'm single, well, I can easily switch from one man to another. I'm easily bored. And don't need emotions for sex at all.

Yes I know him, I met him at school. We're still in highschool lol
He's just confusing to me, I feel like he is interested, but then i feel like he's not sometimes.
He'll do just what you said: tries to make me laugh, LOTS of eye contact, and he definitely teases me a lot, especially when it comes to guys since a lot of them (that i do not want to) like me.
He doesn't ask a lot of questions about me, at least nothing personal. Just jokes. we have a good time together, he laughs at a lot of the things i say too and seems to enjoy talking to me. Actually, I think his Capricorn Moon makes him a bit reserved/shy for that.
And i've noticed he kind of pays attention to me more than he does to my other girl friends.
But then there will be days when he doesn't talk to me or barely does and it's so frustrating -.-
I have leo in venus, so i like getting attention lol.
Anyways, what do you think? Anything I should do?

lol you noticed very well! In the beginning I show a little bit more interests in what someone has to say, than we actually have. But that's just the part of: I want you to feel special around me, because I like you and you must be special than 🙂. So I guess there aren't many differences between males and females 🙂.

Highschool situation! Well I remember that all those stuff was more complicated to me than now, but it comes with age too. I was more shy.
I think he likes you 🙂. There aren't any questions yet, it is going to happen when you go on a date, or at least stay alone for some time. And ignoring part, well, sometimes if I don't feel so shiny and funny I tend to withdrawn. But I'm not so convinced he'll just ask you out. You should make sure that you stay in contact when summer break begins. Than you could, at some point, suggest to do something together. Not a date, just something friends do. I have to admit I'm a little bit scared to give you advices because you are young, and I don't want to make a mistake 🙂. So be aware that I'm not 100% sure 🙂.
Or you could make an opportunity for him to ask you on a date, for contact... Just ask him what are his plan for vacation, tell him about yours, and make sure that other friends aren't so close to hear you talking, or they are not paying attention to you. And then wait. Maybe do it on a last day of school.

Today was like our last class together, the day we have an exam doesn't count since we won't have a chance to talk.
He, some other guy, and I basically talked the majority of the class period.
And, as usual, most of the eye contact went to me.
I feel like he likes talking to me, but when it's just the two of us he gets shy (nervous?) so we always have like one extra person with us, but we're only really talking to each other. Lol does that make sense?
Anyways, I'm hesitant to ask him to hang out during the summer, because we were never exactly friends, you know? Like we talk a lot in PE and stuff, but in the halls we don't say hi, unless i'm with a mutual friend.
And he loathes texting, he would much rather talk in person. So i'm stuck here haha.
I wish I wasn't so shy >.< maybe I should just give up and get over him? We may not even see each other next year anyways haha.

My Venus is in gemini, and in my entire marriage I never even flirted in front of my husband, or even when he wasn't around as I was that loyal and wanted him to feel like he was the centre of my universe. Never had the desire to cheat either.

I'm a Virgo by the way

I was thinking about to post this...but don't want to repeat the same topic...so just add my own story here.
He (Cancer/Gemini/Capricorn) has been approaching to me with lots of questions, once he emailed me with about 30 questions that following his own answers, I felt like doing a survey. I answered all his questions and told him that I would not like to do such a survey any more...very boring to me.
Then he reduced to 3-5 questions at one time.

My question is after Cancer guy get all answers he need/want to know......then what he is going to do next—

He was surprised me about...he wants to go "skydiving" with me...and he has come to me since we live in different states. He said he didn't know why he was attracted by me...and he would like to find out.
Is he just playing with me? Hope not. Otherwise, he will be the one getting hurt since I am playful Sag.
