Can cancer woman get along with gemini man?

I'm a cancer woman that just start dating a gemini man. I read articles about cancer and gemini are not compatible and get in alot of arguments. So far I don't see anything wrong with this gemini guy.

The only problem is going to be your feelings ... when Gemini gets pissed off they target whatever areas of their partners is the most sensitive, fragile ... with intentions of tearing you a part emotionally.

If you can handle that without going into your shell ... then this combo ought to be bliss, because you won't be allowed to go into your shell, he'll follow you there, rips holes into your shell if you don't let him in to badger you if he's angry.

If you can handle that .. then there shouldn't be any problems.

The thing is I'm not very emotional. I don't go into my shell. My younger brother is a gemini so I'm kinda use to gemini personality traits

Well, if this is true that you're not very emotional and you don't go into your shell ..... and if you are so adjusted to being compatible with a male Gemini because of living your life with a Gem brother ... then why did you have to ask this question?

If you are familiar with, and have adjusted your own temperment to be harmonious with a Gemini, then why are you even asking a question in which you already know?

Well my brother is a gemini he is a relative not a lover. And I'm a cancer so I wasn't sure whats is like to date a gemini man. And no I didn't adjust myself to be compatible to a gemini man, I always been this way before I looked up astrology. I guess one of the reason I don't have these things cause I hang out alot with guys ever since I was a child. I really don't know much about astrology and I was wondering why they not compatible and I just wanted to know more. I guess I'm much of a cancer person.

Thank you BigTeddyBear, I know Gemini like to flirt so do I, I have dealt with guys whose like to flirt with other women so when they do that I do the same thing and when that happen they quit flirting lol I guess they realize I'm not a jealous and possessive type or they realize I don't need them and I can get any guy I really don't know much. I'm not a needy person to be honest, I'm the one that wanted my own space. I like to be independent and don't let relationship hold me down and I guess that part of my problem I rather sacrifice relationship than my goals. I never fallen in love with any guy cause I kno have to sacrifice some of my freedom. Cause the gemini I'm seeing is going to stay in the city as for me I want to move to a different state and travel. I have admit there are some times I don't feel like chatting. I kno in the future I might want to settle down but the person I want to settle down with must want to travel and do alot things. I really like motivated guys that want to try new things. I love trying new experiences. I guess I probably think this way cause my dad was in the airforce and we travel alot to different states.

Well since you've had experience with Gems, it makes sense that you naturally understand them & sort of know how they "tick" and what to expect. And since you claim not to be the typical "emotional" Cancer, I think that plays into why things are going so good as well. Don't get me wrong, Gems can be very emotional too, but just don't wear their emotions on their sleeves for everyone to see the way Cancers do. Cancers are very possessive, & are "homey" type of people, whereas Geminis are the complete opposite. Where Cancer is seeking security, Gemini is seeking variety & compatibility with their personality.

Gems respect a person who is in tune with their emotions, but have a hard time connecting to someone who doesn't know how to disconnect from their emotions when the time calls for it. And since Cancers are known for living entirely in their emotions, that is why it's common to hear that the 2 are not compatible. Geminis don't do well with people who are controlling or who don't understand that their need for space & freedom doesn't mean cheating and/or that they don't love you. And the problem with Cancers & Gems is that how they measure how much someone loves them is completely different. Cancers need emotional reassuarance all the time & like to keep tabs too much on their partners. Cancers tend to be more emotional, whereas Gems tend to focus more on the intellect, and only bringing out the emotions in last-resort situations. It's common for Cancer to feel that their Gemini just doesn't understand them. And it's common for Gemini to feel the exact same way. It's not that they aren't good for eachother. It's just that both of their misunderstandings for one another usually breaks the relationship apart.

Well I do a gemini younger brother. And we get along pretty well. I don't see nothing wrong that much about gemini I have to admit my bro love to brag and he don't understand emotional people. I have to explain it to him I realize some gemini only understand unless you talk to them in a logic and reasoning term. I have a cousin who is a taurus and he is an emotional person. When I talk to him he dont understand the logic and reasoning. And he doesn't want to work things out. I have to admit the gemini I have talked to rather work things out then leaving unresolve and I prefer doing that then sulking about it. Which in my opinion cause unstable emotions. If people communicate more then going my emotions too much, its nice to have emotions but too much can cause arguments and unstable feelings. It would make life more better if people can refrain from being too emotional. I have dealt with emotional people and I hate it when they don't want to communicate rather just sulk about it and do the silent treatment.

And also in my opinion people shouldn't judge people cause of their zodiac.
Each person is different. I have dealt with emotional people and logic people and to me they just a person a human being, I won't judge just cause of their zodiac sign thats not right and its unfair to other people.
