I'm not sure I have ever being in love, the emotion is sometimes too complex for me to comprehend. I know I love my Mom, people(like family) that have been there since the beginning. So I guess it takes ages for me. I can be selfless, devoted and caring, it's just my nature and nothing special to me.
I've felt intense emotion but nothing I couldn't let go of, I see no sense in Crimes of passion either. Intense emotions that makes a person put all rational thinking aside(I wish I could give up all control sometimes).

It takes me a awhile to observe the person before I get any feelings for them.

No, it takes awhile. I have fallen once, in a rare case pretty quickly under 2 months but that is an extremely rare case.

I wouldn't say I fall in love easily but I can certainly really like someone a lot and become clingy really fast. I hate it.

No. At least my cancer doesn't. AT ALL.

It's really not common for a Cancer to fall in love quickly. Even if you think they are, chances are they aren't even when smitten with you.

For me yes...I need to stop that butter.

This is exactly what happened with a Cancer I'm.. well were dating, but now taking things slow and just "hanging out"? lol Started very lovey dovey, and now won't even say sweet things. We're still in contact though. Oh cancers... you have me by the leash 😉

a cancer on here once posted that they fall in love with the idea of loving a person almost immediately but don't actually fall in love with the person until later on...and that's what I've noticed with cancers I know in real life.

That makes perfect sense. That's all a Taurus needs to hear to persist on 🙂

It's hard to tell when a cancer has fallen in love with you because their ways are nurturing and romantic --meaning they are loving and warm and kind to lots of people. They are natural charmers and people pleasers. But when they do major things for you and let you in on their secrets or things like that they have fallen. Sometimes getting the cold shoulder and odd behavior is a sign that they've fallen for you.
