Cancer men are emotional and feminine sign. If you are showing him you care, complimenting, holding his hand and being affectionate, his reaction will tell you how he feels. I'm currently dating a cancer man right now - he is rather clingy but he is not telling me where I stand. However, he has been the first to make all moves.

Mixed signals = guy isn't emotionally available but it doesn't stop him from seeking attention. He loves the attention you give him. Besides burning bridges with his manager = reprisal normally. Cancers aren't confrontational so the last thing he wants is burning bridges wit his direct supervisor.
