i'll take ya'll back 5 years ago when i met this beautiful, shy, innocent cancer girl in the gym at our high school. we met eyes and shit, eventually started talking, and then we became boyfriend and girlfriend. now its 2017, and we are broken up. in those 5 years we did everything together. first love sort of thing. we were each others first. we had our ups and downs but overall we were great together. also very on and off but always came back to each other until recently we finally just gave up.. the break up was bad. big fight in my apartment. she left with all her stuff.

we've been broken up for about 1 month now. we have only seen each other one time since the break up.

i called her 2 weeks into the break up asking if i could see her. she picked me up and we talked.. we cried.. we had sex in the back seat.. we cuddled.. we said i love you.. we said goodbye.. and we haven't talked since.

she has a new boyfriend now.. i think. just some dude I've seen her with on social media. it doesn't hurt me but it does at the same time.

i think about her everyday, but it doesn't really hurt anymore. i feel happy and empty at the same time.

is she thinking about me too? cancers, help me understand whats going on. like what is she thinking, how is she feeling and shit

For starters, keep in mind you were both just kids when you hooked up.

Second, Cancers are way more flakey than Virgos when it comes to what they want. I believe she'll cherish those 5 years and hold them very close to her heart, but my guess is she wants to experience more than just you.

If you want to know whether you'll get back together for a long time, I wouldn't start making future plans that involve her if I were you. She is making an effort to move on from her childhood relationship into early adulthood.

I know it's far easier said than done, but you need to try & do the same. Otherwise it can consume you and cause serious longterm damage to you........I should know.

Excellent timing, good to have you here! This is why you should go for a Pisces instead. We are far more insightful and we'll provide a lot more than just "awwwww you poor thing" like the flakey Crab up there.

i appreciate the insight you guys have provided so far. i think overall i'm passed the whole 'hoping she comes back' thing. i'm confident in the idea that i'm over her but i honestly just miss her and i hope she misses me too. it sucks not knowing and i wish we could just talk and be together again but its not realistic.

For starters it doesn't have anything to do with sexuality. The way he explained it, he loves the person underneath, who I am on the inside. It goes beyond gender and we've connected on a deeper level.

I provided comfort whenever he needed it and I gave him 100% of my attention when he needed to talk, and I listened to every word he said. He's got a big heart and sees the best in people. And it's his way of saying "thank you". I gave him my 100% , and he genuinely appreciated it.

The fact you can't even understand something like this is a testament to your selfishness. That's why I highly doubt you'll ever meet someone who truly appreciates everything about you. Because you're not capable of giving your 100% .

UUGHHH. That Cancer / Virgo connection drives me mad. I have had many Virgos after me. But there was only one I truly liked. Felt like we had known each other for years. Then things started getting bad. The connection was soooo strong. We´d literally lock eyes and feel like we were diving into each others souls, and even though our mouths were saying one thing, one look was enough to know what the other person truly wanted to say. But we just don´t match. Virgos I feel don´t take feelings as serious as we do & like to play manipulative games in order to see how much the other person cares about them. I am too sincere and straight forward for that type of thing. But she definitely remembers you. For sure.
