Begining this thread only because I am a Cancerian.

I have some questions regarding this topic.

1) Why do people get jealous?
2) What does it refelct of people who get jealous vey quickly?
3) How to get rid of jealousy?
4) Is jealousy proof of love?

Because of their limits in life. If they can't reach something and there is no way for them, they will get jealous for people who get it.

2) What does it refelct of people who get jealous vey quickly?

They are not good people. They definetly feel power over you. Otherwise they would accept the situation and move on. If not they they think they could hurt you.

3) How to get rid of jealousy?

Learn to live like human being.

4) Is jealousy proof of love?

Possible. Person who cannot get your attention enough may think that he could force you act in particular way.

It can be, but it also could be possessivity.

jealousy is all the fun you think they had...i think people that get jealous are very insecure to the point that they think they are not good enough to obtain what others may have.
People that get jealous quickly are dangerous and should be kept at a distance.
You can get rid of jealousy by developing a positive outlook on things, and believe in yourself. Maybe read inspirational books or get religious.
........AND NO JEALOUSY is not Love,,,or proof of..In the beginning it may seem sexy for a man to be jealous towards a woman,, but its not and it could turn ugly and emotionaly destructive to anyone involved with a jealous partner. A little jealousy is ok its only human but alot of jealousy could kill someone and it has in past cases.

Insecurity with themselves OR with their partner's loyalty.

Very quickly, eeeeeek. This is almost an irrational quality. Must learn to look at the facts, versus jumping to conclusions. hmmmm communication might be necessary? lol

Not in the slightest. It can be an ego issue on it's own. We just like to think that it means love so that we can accept it better.

Why do people get jealous?

Umm...I think mainly b/c we are competitive beings and we don't like to share
what we consider to be only ours. Our fear comparison with others plus fear of replacement also play an important role.

They are more insecure thsn the rest of us.WE all get jealous but someone who gets jealous very quickly has abandonment,low self esteem and insecurity issues.

Resolve their abandonment, low self esteem and insecurity issues.

I think a little bit of jealousy is quite normal and shows that you value the other person in the relationship.I think jealousy itself is not sufficient proof of love.
You can get jealous even if you are not in love with that person for other reasons.

yes i know im smart , all i was trying to say is that your answers to the subject of jealousy all were negative,,why not approach things in a positive manner,,if u need to get laid i will do the deed..lol..jk

1) Why do people get jealous?

Well, I know why I get jealous. When I lose the Power of people's attention or admiration I get a little peeved. Not like a Leo, where I have to be watched all the time, but just a loss of Power in general in the eyes of my peers really ticks me off. (I don't make it obvious though, which is even worse because then it becomes a silent resentment.)

They're always looking to be THE BOSS.

(Now that I've really thought about it, I realize that I don't get jealous at allll these days. I really think it's just a matter of having something to be genuinely proud of in your life that no one can fully understand and appreciate except You -- I know I do heh -- Scorpios tend to be the first ones to be jealous because they lust to be the bosses...or the last ones to be jealous because they secretly are already the bosses lol!! Only one or the other from what I've experienced.)

3) How to get rid of jealousy?

Work harder for the things/people/answers that you desire. Just don't let the jealously be your sole fuel and energy, yet let it remind you that it's there for a reason. I don't believe that it's correct to stop caring because Care Is A Cure for Anything the way I see it.

4) Is jealousy proof of love?

Hell no, proof of lust. Love couldn't conduct jealousy if it tried.

A man who has just lost his dream woman to a stud wouldn't be jealous of that stud if the dream woman was TRULY happy and overjoyed to be with the stud, you know? However if that man was lusting for this woman, then yes there'd be a brawl or two for the affection of the woman between the man and the stud.
