Yeah. Barney the Dinosaur plush toys are so 90s and really irritating.

My daughters are cancer. They love money, music, clothes and shoes. They're teenagers btw

I'd find their fave band and buy tour tickets 😎
Or I'd book a massive day trip like a fishing charter or four wheel driving or quad biking or something like that!

honestly, the reason the cancer board is so quiet sometimes is because of how secretive we are. we are much more secretive than the scorpios.
this is why sometimes all you can see is tumbleweed and relationship threads.

one of my friends buys her boyfriend toys and figurines all the time, because that's what he's in to.

Well, I'm a female Cancer but...

I like anything homemade/sentimental/thoughtful

Like "expensive" gifts aren't what I long for.
However, I think cancerians don't care so much about what you get us, but that you thought enough of us to do so.

My best friend (Virgo male) he used to always make me my birthday card and that's it and I thought was so amazing. One year he drew a portrait of me. I thought that was super cool too! (Kinda made me wonder for a second...Lol but still awesome)

My female Sagittarius best friend always picks up on the little things I've mentioned and it's so sweet. She's kind of a hard ass so it makes me realize how much she cares because she pays attention. She got me an astrology book once lol as I was all into astrology and she took me to a water park one time too!

My parents have always worked so hard in their lives and I know that money isn't exactly "free flowing" from them and I never ask or expect extravagant gifts from them. But there's been a few times they got some kinda expensive electronic stuff (laptop, keyboard, smart phone, tablet...) And it always made me cry. To know they worked hard and saved and probably sacrificed just to see make sure I had a good birthday or Christmas (even though those days are about so much more than gifts to me) meant a lot to me. To just know I was worth it. The crying was also a bit about feeling undeserving lol

So those are my fave gifts lol

Oh and I just thought of another gift idea. Kinda what I was saying earlier, but this year we did a boutique Cupcake class. Bake your own cupcake kind of thing, with champagne and high tea - really cute and Cancer bday girl loved it.
But since this is a guy? something more like a 'design your own beer' and lunch at a brewery... or a surf n turf or BBQ cooking class would probably suit 😎

lol I get to watch all the cute stuff with my girl.

oh and i'd take the surf and turf or bbq cooking class any day, sounds like you make a wicked friend/ other half. 🍹

Best gifts i received were the gifts where people put their efforts in, not the things they bought, but the things they made, or did to make me feel better, where you can see that person put in some work to make this for you, that's what makes me happy, to see the effort rather than buying somethin, well ofc some gifts people buy i like 2, like training equipment or books, moythological statues 😄
