Leo woman and Cancer man - tips/suggestions?

I've only gone on a few dates with this guy. I really do like him and he seems interested. I've read a few things on cancer men; however I was just wondering if people had tips or suggestions for dating a cancer man. Also, assuming he's a typical cancer, would we be compatible? My sun and ascendant are in leo, my moon is aquarius, mercury is virgo, venus is cancer and mars is taurus.

If he didn't treat me well or if I didn't feel right about continuing to date him, I would end it. With that being said, it's still interesting to hear how astrology can play into a person's character or maybe even the effect it has how two people get along.

I don't know if I deleted my original post and reply...or what. I wish my internet was working so I could use my computer instead of my phone.

He acts like a gentleman when we are together. He hasn't let me pay for anything even though I do offer. He has he best sense of humor, which is a huge plus. Ranting a little bit, but I know I am interested sand would like to see where this will go. Its still nice to know how someones sign affects his or her personality and how it will affect how two people get along. So my original questions still stand.

If I'm interested in what people have to say about these "fairy tales" I don't see how that's such a big deal to you. Whether I actually believe these "fairy tales" or just find it semi interesting reading is really none of your business.

If you didn't care then why did you even waste the time to post a response? I don't understand people who say they don't care about someone else's business and yet go and stick their noses in it.

@Sempiteral This is what this forum is for, sometimes you just have to ignore the negativity, but yes you do have a valid question.

I dated a Cancer guy once, their funny and sensitive, as it relates to a Leo I dont think I can really offer great advice on this pairing but just take it day by day and keep us updated.

Do a search and read what the zodiacs say about it in a traditional sense and maybe some of the comments on those threads can give you a clue whats it is like.

Plus I am sure someone will come and comment.

@justSophs Thank you. I've read a few things here and there. He is super funny. Its been a while since a guy who I just met could make me laugh like that.

I've been seeing my cancer guy for a year now. They're great but they get moody as hell. This can easily wound our pride after a while. We tend to get upset quickly but move on just as fast. Cancers dwelllll on hurt. Leo takes it personally. Then all hell can break loose. You might not see it until he really gets close to you. When they're doing well they are so much fun! When they're low... just try not to say anything and keep yourself busy until it passes. Stay affectionate regardless and remind them of your fondness for them often.

@pisceswithleorising I'm sorry if you had some bad experience with a leo in the past; however, I have never and would never cheat on whoever I was with. I was cheated on by a cap and another guy who was either a libra or a scorpio. Does this mean that everyone with those signs cheats. Uh hell no.

Hey. I only ever cheated once. I was 18 or 19, really high on some drug cocktail, and I justified it in my young, messed up mind because the guy I cheated on was a serial cheater himself. He was a cancer.

@strider I don't need a guy to entertain me. And I may be a leo, but I don't need to have something bright and shiny to constantly chase after. I like some security in my relationships.

@strider Guess I'll never know. Apparently he felt that this could only become a friendship. Though I have to give him props from admitting he was being a douche with making out with me and all. Haha. At least I was only three dates in! 🙂 Next?

He seemed pretty sure that he didn't believe that it would be more than a friendship, but doesn't want me walking out of his life. Whatever, friendship or otherwise, I'll let him make the next few moves.

Obviously, he is a has a cancer sun. His moon is in taurus, his mercury and venus are in gemini, and mars is in pisces. I don't remeber what the rest were, and I'm not sure what that means all together.

He was keeping in contact every couple days (on his own) and more in the beginning. It was the last four days or so that I hadn't heard from him and then asked if he was still interested. That's when I got a "I've been busy and sorry. I've put you in a tight spot." So I pushed a little and got the "I don't see this being more than a friendship. Sorry for kissing you. I'm a douche." Told him I'd be ok with being friends. Though if that's what its going to be then I'm not getting physical with him.

And this guy is just about to turn 23, so not sure what his mind set is concerning a relationship. Not that I should be judging based on age since I'm only 20. I guess the difference is, I know I know what I want.

Thank you Noosiekins. It's definitely nice to get someone else's view on things. Like I said, it was only three dates and it's officially summer, so I'm sure there are plenty other cuties around.

If I didn't just get out of something that turned into a fling (and for more than just a summer), then I probably wouldn't care. However, right now I either want to be dating someone, with hopes of it becoming a relationship, or just enjoying life as a single woman. Flings can be fun, but they do have their cons.
