What Does a Moon in Scorpio Indicate for Your Emotions

A Moon in Scorpio suggests deep, intense emotions with potential emotional challenges. It indicates a need for emotional transformation and strong mental resilience. People may experience powerful feelings and a desire for emotional depth, often requiring self-awareness to maintain balance and mental strength.

This is a debilitated moon....what are your personal experiences in terms of emotional balance and mental strength?

i learned coping mechanisms that help me with the day to day difficulties i encounter. granted some of these coping strategies may be labeled as 'unhealthy' but it works for me, and the only proven thing that works for me that doesnt make me go over the deep end.

anything in particular you are inquiring about?

It also makes a difference what the phase of the moon was on the day of your birth. If it was a full moon or within 4 days of a full moon it can still give you decent balance eventhough it's debilitated.

What planets aspect your moon?

Moon in scorpy is 11th from my moon making it a good match for me, so I am curious. 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th house placements of moon from your own are sound matches in terms of love (since the moon controls so much of the emotional aspects).

- first quarter moon.

What planets aspect your moon?

-Moon Trine Venus, Moon Conjunction Pluto,Moon Conjunction Ascendant,Moon Square Midheaven,

Weak moon but no malefic aspects. I understand your comment about having your own way of balancing yourself, makes sense.

Well it needs to release some control/ego and mature a bit....

It's tough without a benefic conjunction or aspect from Mercury, Venus or Jupiter.

The other way it can be mitigated is if the dispositor of this house, Mars is placed either:
- in the sign of the moon or
- 1,4,7, 10 places from the moon.

Then the debilitation stands cancelled.

i disagree

wouldnt a new moon be considered an infant moon seeing as its starting the moon phase over.

I hope your disagreement is with the astrological rules. The basic fundamental criteria test the strength of the moon is 4 days before and after the full moon.

But of course, why should we let astro rules get in the way of leo pride ๐Ÿ˜‰.

this has nothing to do with leo pride but more so with understanding. i just want to get your views on why you see first quarter moons as infantile or weak. in regards to my theory this is what i got from astrograph.com which adheres to astrology

im not trying to antagonize you, like i said...im just trying to get an understandning and going by your words and trying to get your view on it

heres the site

The moon on its own is a non-luminous body. When does it reflect the second hand light of the sun the most? When its surface area is at its maximum i.e in and around full moon. The logic is plain.

Moon which are at the state you're talking about are referred to as dark moon and are generally considered malefic. although given that the first crescent is not technically a dark moon.

incandescentcancer, you seem different.
I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly, but something has changed.

Have you subconsciously adopted yourself a new personal natal chart? lol.
Have you experienced some specific life event, or realisation which changed your perception of yourself or the world around you?

I know you aren't able to put your finger exactly on it but give me some examples of what you see different. I haven't consciously changed in any way. Lol...no, I don'y adapt to natal charts, they adapt to me ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Good. ๐Ÿ™‚ Just chillin. Excited for the warm weather.

"What are your personal experiences in terms of emotional balance and mental strength"

It can be a suspicious, paranoid, secretive, nosy, jealous, angry moon. Without self-control, logic and reason to balance it out, it can be reactionary with just those suspicions. That can be self-destructive if it goes unchecked. On a positive note, it's also passionate, intensely loving and feels very deeply though probably no readily shown. Keeping a balance is always a fight, but it gets easier with practice and time.

Ahhh yes...spring time.

So a jealous lover...more scorpy than scorpy...hmmmmm.

I do feel its strong influence, but 'A fish by any other name would smell as fishy.'

I feel more Pisces than Scorpio. My constant dreaminess (read: spaciness) confirms that ๐Ÿ˜„ Is that what you're asking?

Precisely what I was asking ๐Ÿ˜„. More fishy than scorpy it is! so you're spaced out all the time.....lol ๐Ÿ˜›.

It's in your attitude and demeanor. In some respects it's a somewhat subtle change but noticable from where I sit.
I'm thinking it is related to you moving through the final stages of your Saturn return.

Hmmmm....I guess as long as the changes are positive it's a good thing. Saturn transits do bring on a greater sense of responsibility towards life....

what would make this moon placement "strong"? I have scorpio moon in the 1st house but I have moon conjunct pluto, moon square venus/mars (both 10th house), and venus/mars square pluto.

I have to say that my moon does make me feel very intensely and I am probably capable of manipulation to a degree, but I never use it for selfish reasons and I am not one to take revenge or do things out of spite, like I have seen in others.
