Should I or Shouldn't I

The Cancer in my life knows nothing about astrology and what being a Cancer means from and astrological view. So basically what I would like opinions on is if I give him some of the descriptions of Cancer men characteristics would it help or hurt? Would it give him a better understanding of himself and his emotions and empower him from a positive standpoint or would it just give him an excuse to justify some of his more unfavorable characteristics?

I can just hear him saying, "that's what a Cancer man does baby"....*rolls eyes*

Astrology is just going to point out what's already there. So if you show him certain things about his astrology character. You would just be labeling/stereotyping him with a certain image that he would have to fit. So my answer is a no because you would end up charging him as a Cancer rather than an individual person.

most people just think it's complete BS....of course it IS hard to understand something when you know nothing about it....

Knowing Cancers and the way they take EVERY little tiny thing as a personal assault .. I would say, don't tell him because he would likely see it as an accusation/attack about his character.

you know my landlord is a cancer and he does strange cancerian stuff too - before he met me he knew NOTHING about astrology - but when he says or does something that is typical of a cancer I just laugh and say something like "that's such a cancer thing to say...." he doesn't take it offensively, he's just like "really? hmmm...." and now he's reading up about himself and asks me about astrology all the time - plus he tries to turn it around on me and say "that's a taurus thing"
