I think that sex is situational emotional expression. It is the expression of your emotions about your current situation. If you can see through the situation, you won't develop fleeting emotions, and thus you won't try to physically express them. On the other hand, if you just look at your current situation, you'll develop strong emotions about it, and then you will act on them in some way.
